THEFT: A diamond wedding ring, gold engagement band and a mink coat were stolen from a woman’s closet while she hosted a party June 5 at her home in the 4000 block of 216th Street.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Alexandria Chandler, 21, and Karson Chandler, 22, both of 9255 S. Bishop St., Chicago, and Denisha Maddie, of Normal, Ill., were charged with disorderly conduct after getting into a dispute June 5 over their food bill at Pepe’s Mexican Restaurant, 4431 W. U.S. 30, police said. They said Alexandria Chandler was also charged with possession of marijuana.
RESISTING POLICE: Oliver Vernon III, 26, 2669 Western Ave., Park Forest, was charged with resisting arrest, obstructing traffic, illegal transportation of alcohol and obstructing police after a stop June 6 in the 6200 block of Beechwood Road, police said.
BURGLARY: An air conditioner unit was stolen from a vacant home in the 400 block of Indianwood Boulevard between May 20 and June 17.
THEFT ARRESTS: Christopher Balls, 39, 5719 S. Winchester Ave., and Antwan Green, 27, 7141 S. Princeton Ave., both of Chicago, were charged with theft after they were caught May 30 cutting catalytic converters out of U-Haul trucks at the truck rental business, 18 North St., police said
HOME BURGLARY: Three flat-screen televisions, a laptop computer and four bottles of alcohol were stolen June 10 from a house in the 400 block of Suwanee Street.
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Matthew Blevins Jr., 34, 4032 Charleston St., Matteson, was charged with domestic battery after a June 12 incident in the 300 block of Sauganash Street, police said.
COKE CHARGE: Wansetta Freeman, 39, 1143 Sterling Ave., Chicago Heights, was charged with possession of cocaine after a June 13 stop at Norwood Square and Western Avenue, police said.
POT POSSESSION: Erica Norman, 20, 8033 S. Yates Ave., Chicago, was charged with possession of marijuana after a stop June 14 at Sauk Trail and Westwood Drive, police said.
HOME BURGLARY: Jewelry and a BB gun were stolen June 16 from a house in the 200 block of Rich Road.
BIKE THEFTS: A Park Forest woman told police someone stole her two sons’ bicycles June 17 from the bike rack at the Park Forest Aqua Center.
