THEFT: A total of $736 was stolen out of a safe between July 12 and 14 from a Dunkin’ Donuts, 431 W. 14th St.
SUV BURGLARY: A bag of golf clubs, a windbreaker, rain gear and six golf balls were stolen July 30 or 31 from the trunk of a sport utility vehicle in the 700 block of Sangamon Street.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Chandra D. Jackson, 26, 2661 Corinth Road, Olympia Fields, was charged with driving on a suspended license after a stop Aug. 1 at 14th and Aberdeen streets, police said.
ASSAULT: A 35-year-old Calumet City woman told police that she was grabbed, offered $100 for sex and then scratched by an unknown man Aug. 2 in the first block of 16th Street.
THEFT: A computer modem was stolen from a home Aug. 2 in the 300 block of East 25th Street.
COKE CHARGE: Jason Gaspar, 28, of Cleveland, was charged with possession of cocaine after police recovered cocaine from his car during a traffic stop Aug. 3 at 15th Street and Wentworth Avenue, police said.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Jesse C. McCrary, 23, of Montgomery, Ala., was charged with driving on a suspended license after being stopped Aug. 3 at 14th Street and Emerald Avenue, police said.
NO LICENSE: Juan Echeveste, 33, of Hanover Park, was charged with driving without a valid license after an Aug. 3 stop at East End Avenue and Main Street, police said.
THEFT: An antique bicycle was stolen Aug. 4 in the 100 block of Emerald Avenue.
CAR BURGLARY: A purse containing a checkbook, cash, two debit cards and a tablet was stolen out of a car Aug. 4 in the 300 block of Concord Drive.
THEFT: Copper pipe was stolen Aug. 5 from a vacant house in the 300 block of Concord Drive.
BURGLARY: Two grills, a refrigerator and copper pipe were stolen Aug. 4 or 5 from a house in the 1600 block of Butler Street.
RETAIL THEFT: Chris L. Philbee, 28, 1602 Euclid Ave. Apt. 2, Chicago Heights, was charged with retail theft after stealing goods Aug. 4 from Family Dollar, 175 W. Joe Orr Road, police said.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Taurlet Burton, 32, 1415 Western Ave., Chicago Heights, was charged with driving on a suspended license Aug. 4 after a stop at 10th Street and Emerald Avenue, police said.
TRESPASSING: Jovon Howard, 23, 209 Lester Road, Chicago Heights, was charged with trespassing and disorderly conduct after refusing to leave a property Aug. 5 in the first block of Olympic Village, police said.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Chester Slenk, 58, 1124 East Sauk Trail, Chicago Heights, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance and speeding after he was stopped Aug. 5 in the 1600 block of Halsted Street, police said.
BURGLARY: An arc welder and a gallon bucket containing pieces of brass, nickel and carbite plates were stolen Aug. 5 from Zak’s Metal, 1917 East End Ave. Police said the burglar used a blowtorch to open a steel gate to gain entry.
PURLOINED PURSE: A purse containing four credit cards, $2,000 cash and a checkbook were stolen Aug. 6 from an unlocked car in the 300 block of Dixie Highway.
TRUCK BURGLARY: An iPad was stolen Aug. 7 from a truck in the 1000 block of Hamilton Avenue.
