BOGUS BILLS: An employee of the Beauty Haus, 18350 Pulaski Road, told police a customer attempted to buy $400 worth of merchandise with eight counterfeit $50 bills on Aug. 13.
WARRANT ARREST: Francina Lowery, 18, 4411 Gatling Blvd., Country Club Hills, was arrested on a Peoria County warrant for retail theft after she called police Aug. 17 to break up an argument between her boyfriend and another man at her home, police said.
BURGLARY: A carpet shampoo machine, two window air conditioners, 10 boxes of floor tile and a vacuum were stolen Aug. 17 or 18 from a condominium in the 17900 block of Huntleigh Court.
PILFERED PHONE: A Glenwood man told police someone stole his iPhone Aug. 18 when he laid it on top of a kiosk at Wal-Mart, 4005 W. 168th Place.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Lenita D. Miller, 27, 14620 Kentucky Ave., Harvey, was charged with disorderly conduct after an incident Aug. 19 in the 17000 block of Country Club Drive, police said.
DUI ARREST: Brian L. Garner, 36, 3307 Birchwood Drive, Hazel Crest, was charged with drunken driving, speeding and improper lane use after a stop Aug. 19 at 175th Street and Chelsea Avenue, police said.
PROPERTY DAMAGE: Landscaping lights were damaged Aug. 19 in the 19300 block of Oakwood Avenue.
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Allen G. Phillips, 36, 3225 McBreen St., Robbins, was charged with domestic battery after an Aug. 19 altercation in the 4200 block of 167th Street, police said.
THEFT: A delivery package containing two dress shirts was stolen off a front porch Aug. 19 in the 19100 block of Pine Drive.
VEHICLE BURGLARY: A laptop computer was stolen out of an unlocked car Aug. 20 in the 4200 block of 167th Street.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Isaac Deransburg, 51, 17817 Rosewood Terrace, Country Club Hills, was charged with disorderly conduct after asking people for money Aug. 20 in the 4000 block of 183rd Street, police said.
VANDALISM: A mailbox was removed from a front yard Aug. 22 and placed in a yard across the street in the 5100 block of 186th Street.
VANDALISM: A passenger side window was broken Aug. 23 on a 1998 BMW in the 18500 block of Willow Ave.
TRUCK BURGLARY: A handicapped-parking placard was stolen Aug. 23 from an unlocked truck in the 4000 block of 168th Place.
CAR BURGLARY: A gold wedding band was stolen Aug. 23 from a car in the 4300 block of 186th Street.
CAR BURGLARY: A wallet was stolen out of a car Aug. 23 in the 18600 block of Maple Avenue.
BIKE THEFT: A bicycle was stolen Aug. 23 in the 4900 block of 175th Street.
NO LICENSE: Sean E. Randolph, 21, 6528 Drexel Ave., Chicago, was charged with driving without a valid license and no insurance after a stop Aug. 24 at Pulaski and Williamsburg roads, police said.
THEFT: The center caps of all four wheels of a car were stolen Aug. 24 in the 4900 block of 175th Street.
HOME BURGLARY: Four flat-screen televisions, three laptop computers, a video game system, video games and three pairs of shoes were stolen Aug. 24 from a house in the 3900 block of 167th Place. Police said the TVs, one pair of shoes and 15 video games were later recovered in a back yard in the same block.
PROPERTY DAMAGE: A front door was forced open Aug. 24 in the 4100 block of 191st Court.
WINDOWS BROKEN: Two windows of a house were broken along with a garage window Aug. 24 in the 16800 block of Glen Oaks Drive.
VANDALISM: Someone scratched the driver’s side door of a car Aug. 7 in the 17500 block of Western Avenue.
VEHICLE BURGLARY: A GPS system was stolen Aug. 8 from a vehicle in the 1700 block of Evergreen Road.
RETAIL THEFT: Robert Black, 50, of the 2200 block of 157th Street in Markham, was charged with retail theft after stealing items Aug. 9 from Kmart SuperCenter, 17550 Halsted St., police said.
PROPERTY DAMAGE: Nicholas Pegues, 19, of the 1200 block of 191st Street in Homewood, was charged with criminal damage to property Aug. 10 after an incident at his residence, police said.
BROKEN WINDOW: Someone on Aug. 11 broke the rear driver’s side door window of a vehicle parked in the 18300 block of Perth Avenue.
THEFT: The catalytic converter was stolen Aug. 13 from a vehicle parked at the Metra station, 18015 Park Ave.
TRESPASSING: Joshua Glass, 28, of the 1100 block of Elder Road in Homewood, was charged with criminal trespass after an Aug. 14 incident at a home in the 1800 block of Homewood Avenue, police said.
PURLOINED PHONE: A cellphone was stolen Aug. 15 from a car at Jewel-Osco, 17705 Halsted St.
