RETAIL THEFT: Robert Reiss, no age given, of Joliet, was charged with retail theft after he stole $350 in merchandise, Oct. 7 from Wal-Mart in the 500 block of East U.S. 30, police said.
BURGLARY: A business in the 200 block of Third Avenue reported that various items were taken in a burglary Oct. 7.
VANDALISM: Vehicle windows were damaged Oct. 9 in the 100 block of West U.S. 30 and in the 2200 block of Scotsglen.
RETAIL THEFT: Terry Mozzi, 66, 19512 Catulpa, Mokena, and Niki Johnson, 24, of Morris, were charged with retail theft after they stole goods Oct. 11 from Wal-Mart in the 500 block of East U.S. 30, police said.
WINDOWS DAMAGED: Two vehicle windows were damaged Oct. 11 in the 1000 block of Schoolgate Road and the 300 block of Circlegate Road.
DUI ARREST: Luke Smith, 33, 7050 W. 183rd St., Tinley Park, was charged with drunken driving and disobeying a traffic signal after a stop Oct. 12 at U.S. 30 and Interstate 80, police said.
VANDALISM: Windows on three vehicles were damaged Oct. 12 in the 1200 block of Edmonds Avenue.
RETAIL THEFT: Brittany Bysina, 21, 12318 Donegal Lane, New Lenox, was charged with retail theft for sealing items Oct. 12 from Wal-Mart in the 500 block of East U.S. 30, police said.
DUI CHARGE: Kelly Ryan, 39, 8255 Pecan, Frankfort, was charged with drunken driving, speeding and running a red light after an Oct. 13 stop at U.S. 30 and Bluestone Bay Drive, police said.
WINDOW DAMAGED: A vehicle window was damaged Oct. 13 in the 1000 block of North Cedar Road.
HIT AND RUN: Randy Fencl, 25, 711 Columbia Drive, New Lenox, was charged with leaving the scene of an accident and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after a crash Oct. 5 at U.S. 30 and Schoolhouse Road, police said.
VEHICLE BURGLARY: A briefcase and a tool bag were stolen Oct. 9 from a vehicle in the 900 block of Regent Street, New Lenox Township.
DUI ARREST: Heide Corsi, 47, 21202 S. 79th Ave., Frankfort Township, was charged with drunken driving, illegal transportation of alcohol, improper lane use and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after a stop Oct. 10 at Frankfort Square Road and North Avenue, Frankfort Square, police said.
VANDALISM: A rock was thrown and damaged the windshield of a vehicle Oct. 10 in the 1200 block of East Illinois Highway, New Lenox Township.
VANDALISM: The rear windows of two vehicles were shattered Oct. 12 in the 2800 block of Farm View Road and the 2700 block of Oak Rail Drive, both in New Lenox Township.
THEFT: Two men stole 15 to 20 packs of cigarettes and fled in a car Oct. 12 at a gas station at Benton Drive and Harlem Avenue, Frankfort Township.
VANDALISM: Three vehicles were damaged Oct. 12 when a marble-size projectile was fired at them, causing dents to two vehicles and breaking the rear window of the third. Two of the incidents occurred in the 1800 block of Tomahawk Ridge while the third was in the 1700 block of Tomahawk Ridge in New Lenox Township.
VANDALISM: A vehicle was keyed from front to rear Oct. 13 in a parking lot of Lincoln-Way Central High School, 1801 East U.S. 30, New Lenox Township. The owner, who had just officiated a football game at the school, told police the damage could have been caused by fans from the opposing school who were upset with some of his calls.
WINDOW BROKEN: A golf ball was thrown to break the front window of a home Oct. 13 in the 7800 block of Wheatfield Drive, Frankfort Township.
MAILBOXES DAMAGED: Two mailboxes were damaged Oct. 13 at houses in the 20000 block of White Fence Court, Frankfort Township.
VEHICLE BURGLARY: A GPS system and a garage door opener were stolen Oct. 13 from an unlocked vehicle in the 2700 block of Chessington Drive, New Lenox Township.
BURGLARY: A motorcycle was stolen Oct. 14 from a garage in the 13000 block of Maple Road, Frankfort Township.
