Country Club Hills, Homewood police blotter

COUNTRY CLUB HILLS

DUI ARREST: Brandon Wright, 23, 19013 Amlin Lane, Country Club Hills, was charged with drunken driving, hit and run, resisting police, driving on a revoked license and possession of stolen property after stealing a friend’s car Oct. 28 and crashing into a parked car and a fence in the 4400 block of Provincetown Drive, police said.

POT POSSESSION: Urstin Adams, 20, 276 W. 15th St., Chicago Heights, was charged with possession of marijuana and driving on a suspended license and on suspended registration after an Oct. 28 stop at 185th Street and Cicero Avenue, police said.

BULLET FOUND: A resident of the 17600 block of Springfield Avenue told police she found a hole in her window blinds and a bullet lodged in the wall on Oct. 29.

HOME BURGLARY: A laptop computer, DVD player and jewelry were stolen Oct. 29 from a house in the 17800 block of Baker Avenue.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Gilbert Bush, 22, 19409 Oakwood Ave., Country Club Hills, was charged with disorderly conduct after refusing to leave Sweet Georgia Brown nightclub, 4167 W. 183rd St., on Oct. 31, police said.

HOME BURGLARY: A video game system, video games and two keys were taken Nov. 1 in a burglary of a house in the 4300 block of 175th Place.

VANDALISM: A resident told police that someone shattered one of her car’s rear windows when it was parked Nov. 1 outside her home in the 5000 block of 187th Street.

HOMEWOOD

THEFT: All four tires and rims were stolen Oct. 25 or 26 from a vehicle in the 800 block of Elder Road.

DUI ARREST: Lashon White, 42, of the 100 block of Thelma Lane in Chicago Heights, was charged with drunken driving, speeding and no insurance Oct. 27 after a stop at 183rd Street and Martin Avenue, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: Connie Brooks 41, and Danielle Loveless, 20, both of Chicago, were charged with retail theft after stealing items Oct. 27 from Kmart Supercenter, 17550 Halsted St., police said.

RETAIL THEFT: Kalen Tartl, 20, of the 18900 block of Jonathan Lane in Homewood, was charged with retail theft after stealing merchandise Oct. 28 from Kohl’s, 17620 Halsted St., police said.

CAR BURGLARY: A cellphone and GPS system were stolen Oct. 28 from a car at the loading dock of Home Depot, 17845 Halsted St.

POT POSSESSION: Reginald Driver, 28, of the 16700 block of Orchard Ridge in Hazel Crest, was charged with possession of marijuana and driving on a suspended license after a stop Oct. 29 at 187th Street and Lumis Avenue, police said.

MARIJUANA CHARGE: Coy Hardimon, 22, of the 3100 block of 172nd Street in Hazel Crest, was charged with possession of marijuana and driving on a suspended license after an Oct. 29 stop in the 17900 block of Governors Highway, police said.

POT POSSESSION: Dennis Washington, 34, of Chicago, was charged with possession of marijuana and driving on a revoked license after being stopped Oct. 30 in the 2100 block of 183rd Street, police said.

BATTERY: Michelle Garner, 30, of the 4400 block of Provincetown Drive in Country Club Hills, was charged with battery Nov. 1 after an incident at Brunswick Zone, 3043 W. 183rd St., police said.
