FRAUD: A woman in the 3400 block of Kings Road told police Jan. 4 that someone used her information to sign up for cable in Park Forest.

THEFT: Numerous DVDs and Xbox games were stolen Jan. 4 from a home in the 3500 block of Sangamon Street.

TRAFFIC ARREST: Jacquelynn Smith was charged with multiple traffic violations and driving on a revoked license Jan. 5 after a stop in the 3500 block of Carpenter Street, police said.

ARMED ROBBERY: Two armed men robbed a person of money, cigarettes and a cellphone Jan. 7 in the 500 block of West 34th Street.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Shantika DelaFosse, 22, of Steger, was charged with domestic battery Jan. 8 after an incident in the 3700 block of Union Avenue, police said.

LAPTOP STOLEN: A woman told police a gray bag containing her employer’s Apple laptop computer was stolen Jan. 8 from the stairs in her apartment building in the 300 block of West 34th Street.

THEFT: A central air conditioning unit was stolen Jan. 9 from a vacant residence in the 22500 block of Miller Avenue.

THEFT: Richard Zartuche was charged with a local ordinance violation of retail theft Jan. 9 at 3231 Chicago Road, police said.

BURGLARY: Electronics, clothes and jewelry were stolen Jan. 9 from a residence in the 3500 block of Halsted Boulevard.

FRAUD: A victim in the first block of West 34th Street told police Jan. 9 that someone used the victim’s credit card number to make purchases of more than $445.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Miguel Navarrette, 20, of Steger, was charged with domestic battery and unlawful interference with the reporting of domestic violence after an incident Jan. 11 in the first block of West 32nd Street, police said.

BURGLARY: A 17-year-old Chicago Heights juvenile was arrested Jan. 12 for burglary to a motor vehicle, criminal trespass to a vehicle, being a minor in possession of alcohol and possession of cigarettes in the 3500 block of Peoria Street, police said.

BURGLARY: a 17-year-old Chicago Heights juvenile was arrested Jan. 12 for burglary to a motor vehicle in the 3400 block of Halsted Boulevard, police said.

BURGLARY: An MP3 player was stolen Jan. 12 from an unlocked car in the 3400 block of Green Street.

COLOGNE SWIPED: Cologne and $3 in change were stolen Jan. 12 from an unlocked vehicle in the 3400 block of Halsted Boulevard.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY: Gang graffiti was left Jan. 13 on the rear window a sport utility vehicle and on the trunk of a car in the first block of East 30th Place.

WALLET TAKEN: A brown leather wallet containing a man’s driver’s license and credit cards was taken from an unlocked car Jan. 14 in the 300 block of West 34th Street.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: A man took two gas cans from an open garage in the 200 block of Crystal Lane on Jan. 14 but left them and fled when he was chased by a witness.

ARMED ROBBERY: A gas station in the 3500 block of Chicago Road was robbed of money, two bottles of whiskey, two cartons of cigarettes and two cellphones by two men armed with handguns on Jan. 15.

VEHICLE SHOT AT: A vehicle was damaged Jan. 15 in the 3200 block of Sangamon Street when multiple shots were fired into the vehicle.
