Country Club Hills police blotter

COUNTRY CLUB HILLS

THEFT: About 100 feet of copper pipe was stolen between Feb. 1 and March 7 from a vacant home in the 18600 block of Nightingale Terrace.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Luther Floyd, 33, 18019 Greenview Terrace, Country Club Hills, was charged with domestic battery after a Feb. 3 incident at his home, police said.

THEFT: Deltric Smith, 27, 17471 Park Lane, Country Club Hills, was charged with theft and resisting police after stealing a cellphone and a laptop computer Feb. 4 from a car in the 18300 block of Poplar Lane and then fleeing officers, police said.

PURLOINED PURSE: A purse was stolen Feb. 5 from the trunk of a car while the owner shopped inside Wal-Mart, 4005 W. 168th Place.

BURGLARY: Copper pipe was stolen Feb. 6 from a foreclosed home in the 4900 block of 190th Street.

HOME BURGLARY: Two televisions were stolen and every room was ransacked during a Feb. 28 burglary of a house in the 16900 block of Briargate Drive.

CAR THEFT: A 2009 Toyota Corolla was stolen Feb. 28 in the 1100 block of Williamsburg Road.

PURLOINED PURSE: A Homewood woman told police someone stole her purse containing $1,000 and credit cards when she briefly left it unattended in a shopping cart Feb. 28 at Wal-Mart, 4005 W. 169th Place.

CAR BURGLARY: A wallet was stolen March 1 from a car in the 17500 block of Maple Avenue, and a credit card from the wallet was used to make purchases in Markham and Harvey.

IDENTITY THEFT: A Country Club Hills woman told police someone made $3,360 in unauthorized purchases March 2, using her credit information.

CAR THEFT: A 2003 Infiniti G35 was stolen march 4 when the owner left it running in her driveway in the 16900 block of Sunset Ridge Drive.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Shereen Blunt, 43, 3145 Stafford, Markham, was charged with disorderly conduct after urinating March 5 outside her car in the 4400 block of Gatling Boulevard, police said.

BURGLARY: A snowblower and yard tiller were stolen March 7 from a garage in the 18600 block of Laramie Road.

CAR BURGLARY: A purse was stolen March 7 from a car that was left running in the driveway of a house in the 4100 block of Cambridge Drive.
