BURGLARY: Disc jockey equipment worth $5,000 was stolen between Feb. 6 and 24 from a garage in the 10200 block of Major Avenue.
VEHICLE THEFT: A 2014 Buick Encore was stolen between Feb. 19 and March 8 from Haggerty Buick, 9301 Cicero Ave.
THEFT: A wallet that contained $100 was stolen from the purse of a Hickory Hills woman as she dined Feb. 22 at Portillo’s, 4040 W. 95th St.
THEFT: An Illinois LINK card and a Samsung Galaxy 2 tablet were stolen Feb. 25 from an apartment in the 10000 block of Cicero Avenue.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Mohammed Almadhi, 38, 9333 Harlem Ave., Unit 2B, Oak Lawn, was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after he was seen staring at parents and students and acting strangely Feb. 25 outside Simmons Middle School, 6450 W. 95th St., police said.
VAN BURGLARY: Tools valued at $700 were stolen Feb. 26 from a van in the 4700 block of 95th Street.
BURGLARY: A snowblower was stolen between Feb. 26 and 28 from a garage in the 4300 block of 109th Street.
PROBATION VIOLATED: Mirlinda Kacija, 22, 5515 S. 72nd Court, Summit, was charged with violating probation after she was found in the company of a gang member after a Feb. 27 stop in the 6600 block of 95th Street, police said.
BATTERY: John M. Tiffany, Jr., 24, 9539 Richmond Ave., Evergreen Park, was charged with battery after he got into a bar fight Feb. 27 with a South Holland man at St. James Place, 5305 W. 95th St., police said.
WARRANT ARREST: Timothy Haggerty, 44, 7941 W. 98th Place, Hickory Hills, was arrested Feb. 27 on a Cook County warrant for violating an order of protection after police did a background check when he was found sleeping at the public library, 9427 Raymond Ave., police said.
BATTERY: Krystian Witkowski, 23, 7310 Beloit Ave., Bridgeview, was charged with battery and criminal damage to property Feb. 27 after he threw a traffic cone at a passing car at 105th Street and Central Avenue, damaging the vehicle, and then began fighting with the driver, police said.
WARRANT ARREST: Gavin Vandeveer, 20, 9213 Mayfield Ave., Oak Lawn, was arrested Feb. 27 in the 5900 block of 93rd Street on a LaSalle County warrant for burglary, police said.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Ramzi Shalabi, 58, 1490 W. Maple Ave., New Lenox, was charged with driving on a suspended license, not wearing a seat belt, having an obstructed windshield and no insurance after a stop Feb. 28 at Southwest Highway and 99th Street, police said.
LICENSE SUSPENDED: Ronald Collins III, 29, 7021 W. 100th St., Chicago Ridge, was charged with driving on a suspended license after he was stopped Feb. 28 in the 5800 block of 95th Street, police said.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Jon Armstrong, 41, 18455 Argyle Ave., Homewood, was charged with driving on a suspended license and driving with only one headlight after being stopped Feb. 28 in the 10000 block of Cicero Avenue, police said.
BURGLARY ATTEMPT: Somebody tried to break into a townhouse in the 11400 block of Foxwoods Drive between Feb. 28 and March 1. Pry marks were found on a door jamb and the screen removed from the door, but entry was not gained.
NO LICENSE: Rafael Rivera, 27, 9223 S. 54th Court, Oak Lawn, was charged with driving without a valid license, no front license plate, improper use of registration and no insurance after a March 1 stop at Cicero Avenue and 94th Street, police said.
DUI CHARGE: Michelle Castillo, 30, 9757 Fairfield Ave., Unit 3, Evergreen Park, was charged with drunken driving, illegal transportation of alcohol, driving without a valid license, speeding and no insurance after a stop March 1 in 4900 block of 95th Street, police said.
VANDALISM: Two tires on a car were slashed March 1 in the 4800 block of 96th Street.
RETAIL THEFT: Kujtim Sulejamni, 35, of Naperville, was charged with theft March 1 after he stole a $300 camera from Target, 4120 W. 95th St., police said. They said a check showed that he was wanted on a DuPage County warrant for possession of a controlled substance.
VANDALISM: A brick was thrown through a window March 1 or 2 at a house in the 9700 block of Kolmar Avenue.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Marlon Morgan, 25, 5312 S. Justine St., Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license and no rear plate light a March 1 after a stop in the 4700 block of 103rd Street, police said.
RETAIL THEFT: Aspen Maloney, 18, 9405 Neva Ave., Oak Lawn, was charged with retail theft March 2 after she stole tools worth $163 from Kmart, 4101 W. 95th St., police said.
PILFERED PHONE: A cellphone was stolen from a Chicago woman March 2 after she set it on a table at Chuck E Cheese, 4031 W. 95th St.
LICENSE PROBLEMS: Wesley Ranier, 48, 7622 S. Rhodes Ave., Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license, improper lane use and no insurance after being stopped March 2 at 108th Street and Cicero Avenue, police said. They said he also was charged with not having a business license after he told officers he ran a taxicab service “under the table” and accepted payment for giving people rides.
THEFT: A wallet and cellphone were stolen March 2 from a locker at LA Fitness, 8812 Cicero Ave.
NO LICENSE: Adrian Ortiz, 51, 4225 W. 59th St., Chicago, was charged with driving without a valid license, having a defective windshield and not having a rear plate light after he was stopped March 2 at Southwest Highway and 54th Avenue, police said.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Marquis Singleton, 24, 8059 S. Winchester Ave., Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license and speeding after a stop March 3 in the 4600 block of Southwest Highway, police said. They said his license has been suspended five times since 2008.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Elisia Smith, 25, of Milwaukee, was charged with driving on a suspended license and suspended registration and no insurance after a March 3 stop at 105th Place and Cicero Avenue, police said.
LICENSE SUSPENDED: Deja Blue Porter, 22, 11229 S. Forestville, Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license and having expired registration after a stop March 3 in the 4900 block of 95th Street, police said.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Anthony Bridges, 40, 9826 Sayre Ave., Chicago Ridge, was charged with driving on a suspended license after being stopped March 3 in the 9900 block of Southwest Highway, police said.
