TINLEY PARK

DUI ARREST: Theresa Madej, 55, of Tinley Park, was charged with drunken driving, improper lane use and no insurance after a Feb. 15 stop in the 9500 block of 171st Street, police said.

CAR BREAK-IN: A Tinley Park man told police someone broke into his car Feb. 25 and shattered the screen to his car radio in the 16300 block of Ozark Avenue.

RETAIL THEFT: Demetrious Ward, 24, of Robbins, was charged with retail theft after stealing $150 worth of alcohol Feb. 25 from SuperTarget, 18460 80th Ave., police said.

BATTERY: A Tinley Park man told police two unknown men punched and threatened him as he was walking Feb. 27 in the 6700 block of 171st Street.

THEFT: A customer’s wallet was stolen from her purse Feb. 27 at Portillo’s restaurant, 9599 W. 171st St.

HARASSMENT: Jeffrey Cracco, 39, of Justice, was charged with telephone harassment after sending hundreds of texts between March 8 and 11 to a Tinley Park couple in the 17500 block of 65th Avenue, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: Bryan Boettcher, of Frankfort, was charged with retail theft after stealing merchandise march 11 from Super Kmart, 16300 Harlem Ave., police said.

PURLOINED PURSE: A purse was stolen March 14 from outside the Tinley Fitness Center, 8125 W. 171st St.

CAR BURGLARY: A laptop computer was stolen March 14 or 15 from a car in the 15900 block of Blackwater Court.

CARDS STOLEN: A Tinley Park woman told police someone stole her debit and credit cards from her car March 15 in the 7800 block of 165th Place.

CAR BURGLARY: A wallet was stolen March 16 from a car at Speedway gas station, 7201 183rd St.

VANDALISM: The rear window of a car was shattered March 17 in the 7400 block of 161st Street.

CAR BURGLARY: A laser and a thermometer were stolen March 20 from a car in the 8300 block of 164th Court.

CAR BREAK-IN: A bag containing newly bought retail goods was stolen March 21 from a car in the 8400 block of 163rd Street.
