In your view, what are the two most important issues facing your constituents? How would you address those issues? 1. Top concern is improving the educational process increasing test scores and assisting our students to becoming more competitive on a national level. 2. Bridging the Gap between school and community, District to District and District to Parent, and applying these items to the superintendent metrics.

Please explain something significant you would like to accomplish within the next two years if you are elected to the office to which you aspire. I would like to create a policy to improve classroom to classroom transition discipline reducing tardiness allowing children more focus and uninterrupted teaching time. I would like to introduce a change to the school board meeting allowing the community time for feedback and input to district objectives. I would also like to establish an accountability score card as a form of evaluation for the superintendent. Lastly I would start the process for aligning the curriculum to a successful PSAE, ACT and College Readiness.

Do you believe the current way Illinois pays for education is working? No. If so, why? If not, why not? Of the reports that I have read our state must do a better job when it comes to the teacher’s pension fund. What would you change? I’m not recommending any changes at this time.

Would you make any changes to the budget of the governing unit to which you are seeking elected office? If so, what?I need to review the budget in greater detail prior to making any changes.
