I think communication is the key to success with any organization. I would like to see the board be more consistent in passing information on to the residents of our community.

Do you believe the current way Illinois pays for education is working? If so, why? If not, why not? What would you change?

I believe the state’s lack of paying their share of education is the problem. I believe that’s why our school districts as well as many others are in the financial shape they’re in.

Would you make any changes to the budget of the governing unit to which you

are seeking elected office? If so, what?

I would need to participate in financial planning with the board and administration to completely understand the budget. I believe you could always review and adjust items as need.
