titles and with what agency are they employed? Wife Gale is Village Clerk for Homer Glen

What other elected offices have you sought? What year? Will County Board 1993, Homer Glen Committeeman 2009.

Have you ever been arrested or charged with a crime? If so, for what? What was the disposition? no

Do you have any criminal convictions on your record? If so, for what? What was your sentence? no

Political (elected or significant appointment) experience: Elected Homer Glen Precinct #9 Committeeman in 2009

In your view, what are the two most important issues facing your constituents? How would you address those issues?

1. Illinois American Water issues. I would stay engaged with the Joint Water Agency in an effort to seek relief from high water rates. 2. Bring new businesses to Homer Glen’s 159th Street Corridor. Actively work to attract new businesses and to fill our vacant storefronts in the Village with the anticipated benefit of reducing some of the tax burdens from the residents.

Please explain something significant you would like to accomplish within the next two years if you are elected to the office to which you aspire.

I will become Homer Glen’s first full time Mayor and will have an open door policy for all residents. I will share with our residents through the media (local newspapers) and Village web site all Village activities. All residents will be much more informed than what’s going on currently.

Please explain how you believe the office you’re seeking can help in creating local jobs.

By working to bring more businesses into the Village, it would also create more job opportunities for our residents.

Do you believe the current way Illinois pays for education is working? If so, why? If not, why not? N/A

Would you make any changes to the budget of the governing unit to which you are seeking elected office? If so, what?

I would eliminate most of the third party engineering fees, thus making us more fiscally responsible. I would also find an economically and viable solution for a new Village Hall. It is currently costing the Village approximately $22,000.00 per month to lease the Village offices with no long term benefits.

Are there any other issues you want to bring to the public’s attention? If so, what?

Yes, I would stop the deer killing currently taking place in the Homer Glen Forest Preserve. It should never been allowed to happen. Homer Glen claims to be “Community and Harmony in Nature”.
