In your view, what are the two most important issues facing your constituents? How would you address those issues? 1. Business Development, Village Board and Staff needs to work harmoniously with new and past developers. 2. Continue to work toward a new High School this will be a portion in helping complete the circle that is much needed in our community growth along with maintaining tax rates and increasing property values. Vote YES for the new High School.

Please explain something significant you would like to accomplish within the next two years if you are elected to the office to which you aspire. I would really like to work on creating a better understanding between village and the residents within our community. I believe a better form of communication helps in minimizing confusion and hostility.

Please explain how you believe the office you’re seeking can help in creating local jobs. By work together with developers creates an interest in bringing more business to our community. More business more job opportunities.

Would you make any changes to the budget of the governing unit to which you are seeking elected office? If so, what? In these economic time we as officials should always be looking at adjusting the budget but at the same time making sure we create a healthy balance to allow our community to grow and offer the best amenities.

Are there any other issues you want to bring to the public’s attention? If so, what? 159th street expansion project is a major concern to many of the business owners here in Homer Glen. Bob Schmidt from Wheel go Camping along with myself have formed a group called Business Association Group of 159th (BAG159) This group is to help gather information and possibly make recommendations to the Village Board. The State is at a point in starting the second phase of studies. The Village has been asked to vote on making crucial decisions that could directly affect business owners in our community. Who is better to help and have input then the ones directly affected.
