I have no relatives employed by a government agency.

This is the first elected office I have sought.

I have never been arrested or charged with a crime.

I have no previous political experience.

In your view what are the two most important issues facing your constituents? How would you address those issues?

The most important issues facing my constituents are the careful use of taxpayers’ money while obtaining the maximum amount of library services for that money.

Please explain something significant you would like to accomplish within the next two years if you are elected to the office to which you aspire.

If I am elected as Frankfort Library Board Trustee I intend to be a conscientous trustee. I will study all library matters to the best of my ability and move the library forward in a positive fashion. I intend to maintain the library’s budget within its means while continuing to provide valuable services to the entire community within the Frankfort library district.

Please explain how you believe the office you’re seeking can help in creating local jobs.

This question is not applicable.

Do you believe the current way Illinois pays for education is working? If so, why? If not, why not?

This question is not applicable.

Would you make any changes to the budget of the governing unit to which you are seeking elected office? If so, what?

As a new trustee, I would be part of the board that plans the library’s yearly budget in June. At that time, I would carefully consider all of the budgetary issues facing the library, and along with my fellow trustees, I intend to move the library positively into the future.

Are there any other issues you want to bring to the public’s attention?

I am supported by several current library trustees and I endorse the conservative and positive stance that they take on library matters. It will strengthen the library and benefit the constituents to have a unified board serving its needs.
