through the Chore Service Program for the elderly.

What other elected offices have you sought? What year? None

Have you ever been arrested or charged with a crime? If so, for what? What was the disposition? No, I have not been arrested.

Do you have any criminal convictions on your record? If so, for what? What was your sentence? No, criminal convictions.

Political (elected or significant appointment) experience: I have served 6 years.

In your view, what are the two most important issues facing your constituents? How would you address those issues?

Infrastructure. Because of the age of Blue Island my ward is in need of help form the state & federal government for street resurfacing & bridge repair.

Please explain something significant you would like to accomplish within the next two years if you are elected to the office to which you aspire.

Repairing at least one of the bridges that are closed.

Please explain how you believe the office you’re seeking can help in creating local jobs.

It is very hard to attract new business with the State of Illinois raising taxes. We will offer some small incentives through Cook County.

Do you believe the current way Illinois pays for education is working? If so, why? If not, why not? What would you change?

I believe the state should fund our schools in a timely manner.

Would you make any changes to the budget of the governing unit to which you are seeking elected office? If so, what?

Right now we are on a no frills budget with very little extras.

Are there any other issues you want to bring to the public’s attention? If so, what?

I have been trying to repair & widen Canal St. surrounding Lincoln School with a grant through Bob Rita, State Rep., but he refuses to let the money be used where it is most needed.
