What other elected offices have you sought? What year?

I have not sought any office other than School Board.

Have you ever been arrested or charged with a crime? If so, what? What was the disposition?

I have never been arrested or charged with a crime

No criminal convictions’

In your view, what are the two most important issues facing your constituents? How would you address those?

The two most important issues right now in the District is Union Negotiations, and to increase the performance of our children. Although our scores are good we should be going for great!

Please explain something significant you would like to accomplish within the next two years if you are elected to the office to which you aspire.

In the next two years I would like our schools to be more technology driven.

I also would like to increase our test scores to the 90% percent range we are currently in the 80% range.

Do you believe the current way Illinois pays for education is working? If so, why? If not, why not? What would you change?

I do not believe the way Illinois is funding education is fair. We rely on tax dollars. Big cities who have more business are receiving more funding that districts who have less businesses and homes.

Would you make any changes to the budget of the governing unit to which you are seeking elected office? If so, what?

I would make changes to the Budget. I would ask that a Special Board Meeting be called so that we can go over the Budget line by line. I would not however be in approval for changes in the budget in the classrooms. I would look at increases the money towards curriculum.d
