In your view, what are the two most important issues facing your constituents? How would you address those issues? The communication between the schools and the parents. Also the quality of time put into the curriculum in the district. I have a lot of ideas about increasing communication between the schools and parents, including using technology (email, texts) to foster communication, with regularized contact between the two. This could increase the efficiency of the teachers, as well as allow them more time to spend on their classroom materials.
Please explain something significant you would like to accomplish within the next two years if you are elected to the office to which you aspire. Change the method in which parents are contacted from the school or board. Utilize email and the internet.
Please explain how you believe the office you’re seeking can help in creating local jobs.
Open a fair process for open jobs in the school dist. Not just for family and friends.
Do you believe the current way Illinois pays for education is working? If so, why? If not, why not? What would you change? I believe it works because it comes from our tax dollars and if we put time and effort into the school like we do in lowering our taxes, we would be more satisfied.
Would you make any changes to the budget of the governing unit to which you are seeking elected office? If so, what? I wouldn’t change anything right now.
Are there any other issues you want to bring to the public’s attention? If so, what? Just the unfair practices in hiring in schools.
