In your view, what are the two most important issues facing your constituents? How would you address those issues?

The two most important issues facing our community are public safety and Fiscal Responsibility. We need responsible spending so that we can look for ways to bring more officers to our village. We also need fiscal responsibility so that we can improve services to our residents and bring back services that we had to stop because of funding.

Please explain something significant you would like to accomplish within the next two years if you are elected to the office to which you aspire.

I would like to see better cooperation within our village to make it a safer and more inviting community. This can be done if everyone works together and not just for themselves.

Please explain how you believe the office you’re seeking can help in creating local jobs.

Creating local jobs is going to be difficult with the economy in the state it is in right now. However, cleaning up our community and making it a more inviting location, could entice businesses to locate here and make the businesses we have do better.

Would you make any changes to the budget of the governing unit to which you are seeking elected office? If so, what?

I would make changes to the budget of the Village of Steger to cut wasteful spending. It would have to be a collective effort from all departments.
