In your view, what are the two most important issues facing your constituents? How would you address those issues?

1. Work on maintaining a balanced budget

2. Maintaining low taxes

Please explain something significant you would like to accomplish within the next two years if you are elected to the office to which you aspire.

1. Watch the spending of village dollars

2. Control unnecessary spending on wants versus the needs.

Please explain how you believe the office you’re seeking can help in creating local jobs.

Our village is landlocked; there is little land in bringing businesses into the village. I would create summer programs especially for the young adults to help them become entrepreneurs that would help with building a financial goal within the boundaries of our community.

Do you believe the current way Illinois pays for education is working? If so, why” if not, why not? What would you change?

I believe the current way Illinois pays for education is working. I see growth and would like to see more growth with the inclusion of parental involvement in the education of their children. Not enough parents are involved.

Would you make any changes to the budget of the governing unit to which you are seeking elected office? If so, what?

Due to the fact we are a small village, we are doing the best we can without having to let go of our police department and others who are maintaining our village.
