In your view, what are the two most important issues facing your constituents? How would you address those issues?
Educational funding is a problem for most of our parents, receiving equitable funding from the State of Illinois. The social aspects of parenting with all the influences our children receive from outside the home present a problem for society and for parenting.
Please explain something significant you would like to accomplish within the next two years if you are elected to the office to which you aspire.
I would hope to assist in providing parents information for increasing parenting skills and increasing their ability to guide children toward upward mobility in their educational quests and ambitions.
Please explain how you believe the office you’re seeking can help in creating local jobs.
Through more grant writing there may be the opportunity to hire more staff.
Do you believe the current way Illinois pays for education is working? If so, why? If not, why not? What would you change?
The method of school funding in Illinois is not equable for all students. Working with elected officials and requesting a change in the law is how this injustice will change. Convincing officials to change opinions and votes appears to be quite difficult in Illinois.
Would you make any changes to the budget of the governing unit to which you are seeking elected office? If so, what?
Naturally I think the school budget is inadequate, the future of the country is upon the shoulders of teachers and schools. A higher priority should be placed on this most important aspect of American life.
