In your view, what are the two most important issues facing your constituents? How would you address those issues?
Keeping a balanced budget and keeping taxes low.
Please explain something significant you would like to accomplish within the next two years if you are elected to the office to which you aspire.
Maintaining a balanced budget and keeping taxes as low as possible, seeing that the constituents continue to receive the quality of services that their taxes pay for. Continue to seek economic development thru new businesses.
Please explain how you believe the office you’re seeking can help in creating local jobs.
By bringing in new business to the community this will create new job positions for local residents.
Do you believe the current way Illinois pays for education is working? If so, why? If not, why not? What would you change?
No I do not believe it is working. The State of Illinois is so far in debt that they continue to underfund the education system. As far as change, if I was in the legislature I would be working on reduicng spending and cutting back and reducing the state deficit.
Would you make any changes to the budget of the governing unit to which you are seeking elected office? If so, what?
The City of Palos Hills is known for its balanced budget for the last 25 years and we are constantly scrutinizing the budget to reduce costs without threatening the services and jobs.
