What other elected offices have you sought? What year? Alderman 2009

Have you ever been arrested or charged with a crime? If so, for what? What was the disposition? No, not in the last 30 years.

Do you have any criminal convictions on your record? If so, for what? What was your sentence? No, not in the last 30 years

Political (elected or significant appointment) experience? N/A

In your view, what are the two most important issues facing your constituents? How would you address those issues? I find that the two most important issues are Taxes and Crime. I would address taxes by promoting local businesses (new and existing) in their growth and development which will ultimately lower taxes. I would make sure that CC Hills receives its fair share of City taxes generated by businesses. I would address crime by continuing to create and implement Mentor programs for the Adult and the Youth. The Adult programs will be designed to reduce the relationship gaps and the Youth programs will be designed to promote self-love, self-confidence and community awareness.

Please explain something significant you would like to accomplish within the next two years if you are elected to the office to which you aspire. In addition to addressing the major issues as above (Taxes and Crime), I am also committed to address the need to improve the quality of our schools at the Grade and High School levels. If elected, I will form a committee that will provide an overall assessment of the existing conditions. With this information, I am committed to:

- Improve Parent Involvement

- Create programs that will assist students in their studies

- Create mentor programs for the Youth, operated by the Youth

- Improve Teacher/Super relationships so that we All have a common goal.

Please explain how you believe the office you’re seeking can help in creating local jobs. By promoting new businesses and providing assistance to existing businesses, this will ultimately lower taxes.

Do you believe the current way Illinois pay for education is working? If so, why? If not, why not? What would you change? No. Currently, suburban schools are funded by property taxes. CC Hills need more money to pay for education.

Would you make any changes to the budget of the governing unit to which you are seeking elected office? If so, what? Yes, I would evaluate each department and cut unnecessary “fat” and promote less pay for the higher executive level jobs.

Are there any other issues you want to bring to the public’s attention? If so, what? Yes. I would like to introduce the following programs, if elected:

- Build A Relationship With A Senior program

- Educate residents on how to read their tax bill, how to apply for tax exemptions and other tax benefits offered by the city.

- Provide bus transportation to Youth for after school programs

- Create an “Open Door” policy where I will be accessible to residents at all times.
