Here’s an idea to lower the number of combat assault rifles in society.
The National Rifle Association’s slogan is, “Guns don’t kill people, people kill people.” You could also say, “Cigarettes don’t kill people, people who smoke cigarettes kill people.”
A pack of cigarettes is about $8 in Chicago due to a high tax. Raise the tax on assault rifles.
If the NRA wants a police officer in every U.S. school, a gun tax will help pay for them.

Opposes gay marriage
I strongly stand against the proposal to legalize gay marriage in Illinois. Our country needs to stand together to fight this sin. We need to get back to our values. I am a God-fearing person and believe that marriage is between a man and a woman. We all need to practice moral values as written in the Bible. If we do, we cannot go wrong.
