Politician is a misleading title because there are few job descriptions worse than the foolish oxymoron of politicians masquerading as public servants.
Begging the question, why do the bone-headed voters march in lockstep with do-nothing politicians who achieve an approval rating around 10 percent? We need representatives in office who know how to get their hands dirty doing an honest day’s work.
Amnesty is not the answer to the problem of illegal immigration because undocumented immigrants will be competing for what few jobs our political leaders have not shipped out of America.
Don’t forget that Bill Daley pushed for the North American Free Trade Agreement to become law, sending many thousands of jobs out of our nation. Now, he has the audacity to seek our votes for governor of Illinois.
One of the top Republicans running for governor is Bruce Rauner — a Mitt Romney-type, labor-hating vulture capitalist who has destroyed many jobs, much like Romney’s Bain Capital did. When will the assault on the working people of Illinois stop?
