Right on cue, the first thing out of Gov. Pat Quinn’s mouth after the March primary election was reference to Bruce Rauner’s wealth. The class war is on because the Democrats haven’t anything positive to run on.
Rauner is a venture capitalist. Private equity and venture capitalists take risks investing in companies, and if the risk pans out, they make a profit and create thousands of jobs. The dignity of a job is what Illinois, and America, needs above all to restore the economy.
For perverted reasons, Democrats prefer people to be serfs depending on Big Government’s beneficence. It doesn’t work, it hasn’t worked. I’ll back a candidate with a proven record of success and kiss goodbye to Quinn, House Speaker Michael Madigan and failure.
And what do you suppose Mr. Madigan is worth these days?
