Judge Judy should run for president with John Walsh from the TV show “America’s Most Wanted” as vice president. They would straighten the United States out.

Mitt Romney and President Obama are spending hundreds of millions during their presidential campaigns. Who would spend all this money for a job that pays $400,000 per year unless there were going to be kickbacks from all of their rich friends?

Speaking as a Chicago guy, Chicago guys do not want celebrity Jenny McCarthy. She says she likes Chicago guys. If you are blind, deaf or brain-dead then you are the perfect guy for McCarthy. The majority of guys now know about McCarthy and her past. She is not the kind of girl you want to bring home to meet your mother.
Only in America can the chumps, I mean the taxpayers, be expected on a daily basis to pay for all of the illegitimate children of other people.
With diabetes and heart disease so rampant, I would like to see McDonald’s use more Egg Beaters and sugar-free syrup. Maybe they can help the diabetics and the heart patients as long as these people are still frequenting McDonald’s.
Why do people here illegally feel they have a right to be here? Don’t our laws count? Does anyone care to obey our laws?

To Jeff from Orland Hills: You stated that same-sex marriage is as normal for homosexual people as opposite-sex marriage is for heterosexual people and, therefore, we should all just accept it. By your logic, pedophilia should also be OK because it is normal for pedophiles, or prostitution should be OK because it is normal for prostitutes. No matter how hard you try to spin it, you will never force people with moral principles to accept perversion as simply another normal lifestyle choice. I believe same-sex marriage is just about as abnormal as it gets.

I would like to congratulate the SouthtownStar for not running Fran Eaton’s column anymore. It’s about time. I guess she doesn’t understand what conflict of interest is. This is in addition to a lot of other things she never understood.
Stop worrying about high unemployment, record deficits and a sick economy. The Democratic Party leaders will solve those problems as soon as they get their hands on Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s tax returns.
Isn’t it enough to see that the garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies underneath that make it so?
I read all of the hype about the Bark for Your Park contest for the dog park, but I’ve been straining my eyes looking past the money I’ve contributed to the Orland Park coffers. Who is going to be responsible for doggy cleanup when the unleashed dogs are frolicking around? Who will be responsible for dog bites? There are some dog owners who are very irresponsible.

Jerry Lewis and his telethons raised millions for muscular dystrophy. They have made wonderful advances. Can you imagine what could be done with the money spent on the Mars rover? By now children wouldn’t be walking with braces. People wouldn’t be dying so young. Think what could have been done if some of that money was put into muscular dystrophy research.

The owners of the Chicago Cubs are either deaf and dumb or just stupid. Why do they think president of baseball operations Theo Epstein cannot perform miracles? Epstein is only human. He is not a miracle worker. The Cubs should be put down into the minor leagues. They would still finish in last place.

The public school system provides meals for the needy children for breakfast, lunch and, now with the longer school day, an after-school snack. It would be beneficial to the taxpayers and the school system if these families would be required to use the Link card to purchase those meals provided at public schools. It appears that some of the parents are not feeding their own children and are keeping the money for their own use.
