The South Suburban Earth Science Club will meet at 7 p.m. Aug. 1 at the Park Forest Public Library, 400 Lakewood Blvd.

The club dedicated to promoting and educating on the study of earth sciences, which includes minerals, archaeology, lapidary arts and processes, fossil collecting, identification and display.

Members and guest will share items from their collections and news on recent fossil and gem shows they attended.

All ages are welcome, but children should be accompanied by an adult.
