Brooke Annerino, 17, of Oak Lawn, a junior, is in her third season on the Spartans’ varsity.

Which sporting events at Oak Lawn do you attend?

Pretty much all of the boys basketball games. Our whole team goes together.

If you could have one player from another team be your teammate, who would it be?

Georgia Danos, of Richards. She’s a really good point guard and I could probably learn from her.

What habit do you wish you could break?

I always need to have everything in order, everything pefect. That’s probably bad because nothing is ever perfect.

If you could be in a cartoon, which one would it be?

Spongebob would be fun.

Your dream celebrity prom date. Who is it?

Channing Tatum. He’s just good looking.

What’s on your Christmas wish list?

I ask for gift cards. Then I just buy what I want.

Would you rather shop with Lady Gaga or Taylor Swift?

Lady Gaga. She seems fun. Taylor Swift is too lovey-dovey.

Do you have any nicknames?

People call me Brookie Cookie because it rhymes.

What’s the funniest story you remember about coach (Janet Haubenreiser)?

When I was a freshman on varsity, we were up by one point and trying to keep the ball. The main point guard passed me the ball and I dropped it. Haubs kicked a chair. She was so mad. But we ended up winning.

When you look in the mirror, what does it tell you about yourself.

That I’m nice and I don’t judge people.

As told to Tony Baranek
