Services set for Sandburg AD

Sandburg High School athletic director Bruce Scheidegger will be remembered in two separate services.

Scheidegger, 54, died over the weekend in an apparent auto accident near Mount Carroll in northwest Illinois.

The official cause of death is pending an autopsy by the Carroll County coroner.

Sandburg High School will host a Celebration of the Life of Bruce Scheidegger from 1 to 3 p.m. Feb. 17 in the Eagle gym, followed by light refreshments in the Commons.

The school is at 13300 S. LaGrange Road, Orland Park.

Visitation is from 9 to 11 a.m. Feb. 18 with a memorial service at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 6850 W. 159th St., Tinley Park.
