Kaminski, 17, of Chicago Ridge, is in her fourth season as a first baseman on the Bulldogs varsity.
What does it mean to be a Bulldog?
It’s exciting, The history of the team is amazing. Wearing a Richards jersey gets me excited. It’s fun to be a Bulldog.
What’s the most fun about playing first base?
I look forward to those bad throws because I love scooping the ball and being there to get it and pick up my teammates.
What opposing player would you just love to have as a teammate?
Brooke Wyderski, from Marist. She’s an amazing player, and for her to be our team would be a big impact.
What is your favorite month of the year?
June, because it’s my birthday month and it’s summer.
Do you have any nicknames?
B.K. All Day.
What’s your favorite class?
Forensic science. I’m going into the medical field.
Away from sports, what is the first thing you’d be likely to do for enjoyment?
I love to shop. At the mall I head for Body Central, for clothes and shoes.
If you could trade places with one of your teammates for 24 hours, who would it be?
Molly Pohrebny. She’s always pumped. She’s always in the best mood possible. She’s got just the best attitude.
Has anyone ever told you that you look like someone famous?
Some people tell me I look like Lindsay Lohan ... but (laughing) I can’t see that.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Working in a hospital with babies, being a nurse.
