An 81-year-old man was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol Wednesday after his car overturned on Interstate 355 near Homer Glen.
James Jesk, of Lemont, crashed his Lexus LS 600h while driving north about 6 p.m. on the I-355 ramp to 159th Street, Illinois State Police Master Sgt. Brian McKinney said.
Jesk was taken with non-life-threatening injuries to Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, McKinney said. He was the only person in the car.
Police said his car struck the median barrier and rolled over. There were no other vehicles involved in the crash.
Jesk was arrested and charged with driving under the influence after the crash, McKinney said.
