Boys Basketball

No. 10 St. Rita 59, Loyola 48: Tony Hicks poured in 25 points to lead visiting St. Rita (9-7, 5-0) in the Catholic League North.

Ag. Science 53, Evergreen Park 51: Michael Robinson tossed in 16 points for visiting Ag. Science (10-7). Jacquete McClendon had 20 points for Evergreen Park (8-13).

Stagg 59, Oak Lawn 52: Brett Kaiser totaled 21 points for host Stagg (9-8). Oak Lawn fell to 7-9.

Oak Forest 63, Illiana Christian 58: Tim Loeding and T.J. Mayer scored 16 points apiece for visiting Oak Forest (9-8). Brandon Martin paced Illiana Christian (7-9) with 11 points.

Rich South 68, Bradley 38: John Ruffin contributed 13 points and 10 rebounds for visiting Rich South (14-5)

Aurora Central Catholic 58, Chicago Christian 48: Michael Kamp posted 33 points for host Chicago Christian (6-13) in the Suburban Christian crossover.

Illinois Lutheran 64, Grant Park 50: Austin Wood (23 points) led visiting Illinois Lutheran (7-5, 3-3) in the River Valley.

Coal City 51, Beecher 32: Nick Burkhardt and Jacob D’Anna had seven points apiece for host Beecher (5-12).

Riverside-Brookfield 74, St. Laurence 45: Visiting St. Laurence dropped to 3-15.

Girls Basketball

No. 2 Hillcrest 75, Tinley Park 24: Shannise Heady had 18 points and eight rebounds for visiting Hillcrest (18-2, 8-0) in the South Suburban Blue. Mariam Awoniyi tacked on 14 points and 11 rebounds for the Hawks. Tinley Park fell to 10-11, 6-2.

No. 5 Homewood-Flossmoor 71, Joliet Central 29: Danielle Woolfolk contributed 20 points to lead host Homewood-Flossmoor (13-6, 5-2) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue. Charnelle Reed added 14 points for the Vikings, while Tosin Mabodu had 12 points and 10 rebounds.

No. 7 Morgan Park 61, Brooks 28: Kendyl Nunn scored 15 points to guide visiting Morgan Park (14-6, 7-0) in the Public League Windy City South.

No. 8 Mother McAuley 45, Resurrection 31: Elizabeth Nye and Brenna Nolan contributed 10 points apiece for visiting Mother McAuley (13-8, 4-1) in the GCAC Red.

No. 10 Andrew 47, Lincoln-Way West 30: Tiana Karopulos had 13 points to lead host Andrew (12-6, 6-1) in the SouthWest Suburban Red.

Sandburg 49, Lincoln-Way Central 42: Ashley Youngwirth poured in 19 points for host Sandburg (12-10, 4-3) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue. Autumn Schultz paced Lincoln-Way Central (10-8, 2-5) with 16 points.

Stagg 40, Lincoln-Way North 37: Casey McMahon scored 14 points for visiting Stagg (11-5, 5-1) in the SouthWest Suburban Red. Taylor Boardman had 13 points and 10 rebounds for Lincoln-Way North (15-5, 5-2).

Joliet West 55, Lockport 53: Taylor Quain and Hannah Hollatz each scored 14 points for host Lockport (5-12, 1-5) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue.

Queen of Peace 56, Mount Assisi 54 (OT): Hannah Lipman scored 22 points for visiting Queen of Peace (4-15).

Evergreen Park 44, Argo 37: Nina Orlowski provided 16 points for visiting Evergreen Park (3-16, 2-6) in the South Suburban Red.

Shepard 57, Reavis 51: Amanda Weiss’ 24 points lifted host Shepard (6-14, 2-6) in the South Suburban Red. Stephanie Verduzco had 18 points and 11 rebounds for Reavis (5-13, 1-7).

Rich East 60, Crete-Monee 53: Danielle King had 30 points for host Rich East (13-6, 4-2) in the Southland. Alexia DeBose and Ashley Henry scored 17 points apiece for Crete-Monee.

T.F. South 55, Lemont 39: Nina Bertrand’s 13 points lifted T.F. South (12-5, 8-0) in the South Suburban Blue. Courtney Toth scored 22 points for Lemont (6-14, 5-3).

Ag. Science 43, Julian 24: Allison Nash had 17 points and five steals to spark host Ag. Science (12-4, 9-2) in the Public League Chicago South.

Rich South 1,653, Rich East 1,115: Salest Stewart’s two-game series of 369 propelled Rich South in the Southland meet at Lakewood Bowl.

Evergreen Park 1,535, Richards 1,486: Sarah Klawitter had a 364 series for Evergreen Park in the South Suburban Red. Sara McNeilly had a team-high 336 series for Richards at Brunswick Zone in Oak Lawn.

Hillcrest 1,325, T.F. South 1,285: Casie Collins posted a 312 series for Hillcrest in the South Suburban crossover at Lan-Oak Lanes.

Shepard 1,694, Eisenhower 1,680: Destiny Miller provided a 235 game and 436 series to pace Shepard in the South Suburban Red. Andranice Collins had a 359 series for Eisenhower at Centennial Lanes.

Oak Lawn 1,564, Oak Forest 1,508: Oak Lawn’s Megan Kilcoyne notched a 360 series in the South Suburban crossover. Kim Kuspa had a 201 game and 353 series to lead Oak Forest.

Lockport 1,979, Bolingbrook 1,571: Bri Zabierek had a 427 series for Lockport in the SouthWest Suburban Blue meet at Strike N Spare II.

Andrew 1,916, Lincoln-Way North 1,730: Marissa Jones contributed a 392 series for Lincoln-Way North in the SouthWest Suburban Red dual at Tinley Park Bowl.

Joliet West 1,677, Lincoln-Way East 1,635: Rachel Tobolaski’s 379 series led Lincoln-Way East in the SouthWest Suburban Blue meet at Thunder Bowl.

Reavis 68, Evergreen Park 6: Jesus Vasquez (106) won by fall for host Reavis in the South Suburban Red.

Boys Swimming

Lemont 74, Thornton Fractional co-op 19: Connor Ganzer won the 50-yard freestyle (25.40 seconds) for visiting Lemont in the South Suburban Blue. Joe Ziebell tacked on a victory in the 100 breaststroke (1 minute, 13.65 seconds) for the Indians.

Tinley Park 120, Bremen 27: Andrew Griffin won the 200-yard freestyle (1 minute, 56.85 seconds) for host Tinley Park in the South Suburban Blue. Kevin Hesse added victories in the 100 fly (1:00.93) and 200 individual medley (2:18.19) for the Titans.

Evergreen Park 104, Eisenhower 53: Mitch Easterhouse prevailed in the 100 butterfly (1:10.47) for host Evergreen Park in the South Suburban Red. Darrick Longoria, of Eisenhower, was a winner in the 50 free (26.47).

Lincoln-Way East 134, Joliet Township co-op 46: David Drewes won the 100 free (57.17) to aid host Lincoln-Way East in the SouthWest Suburban Blue.

Lockport 98, Homewood-Flossmoor 87: Lockport’s Dan Oldendorf won the 100 fly (58.20) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue. Jakobi McClellan was a winner in the 100 backstroke (1:02.59) for visiting Homewood-Flossmoor.

Stagg 142, Lincoln-Way West 42: Nick Amemdola was first in the 500 free (5:36.96) for host Stagg in the SouthWest Suburban Red.

Richards 108, Oak Lawn 80: Neil Slowinski prevailed in the 100 back (1:01.92) to spark host Richards in the South Suburban Red. Joe Fay contributed a victory in the 100 fly (1:01.89) for Oak Lawn.

Andrew 105, Lincoln-Way North 80: Kyle Fitzgerald, of visiting Andrew, won the 50 free (23.16) in the SouthWest Suburban Red.
