Nic Weishar, of Marist, is this week’s Beggars Pizza/SouthtownStar Player of the Week,
Weishar, a sophomore, scored 22 points, despite a severe case of the flu, to lead the RedHawks to a 45-44 win over Harlan, and added 13 points during a 75-69 victory over archrival Brother Rice.
