Players to watch
Laquon Treadwell, WR, Crete-Monee: The 6-foot-3, 190-pound senior is a physical specimen. Tremendous speed, hands and leaping ability. Has offers from Oklahoma, USC, Alabama, Notre Dame, Oklahoma State, Auburn, UCLA and Ohio State.
Ethan Pocic, OL, Lemont: Want to know what a Division I-caliber offensive lineman looks like? The 6-7, 285-pound senior tackle is strong, agile and technically sound. Headed to LSU.
Nic Weishar, WR, Marist: Great hands and speed. The 6-5, 210-pound junior has offers from Northwestern, Michigan, Michigan State, Illinois, Notre Dame, Wisconsin and Indiana.
Jaquet McClendon, WR, Evergreen Park: The 6-foot-2, 185-pound junior boasts game-changing skills. Has the hops to come down with just about any ball thrown in his direction.
Jalen Banks, DB, Thornton: Four-year varsity starter has tremendous cover skills and can lower the boom on opponents. Has offers from Nebraska, Northwestern, Iowa, Wisconsin, Boston College and Illinois.
