Football

No. 6 Lemont 40, Eisenhower 0: Zach Brosseau was 9-of-9 passing for 205 yards and four touchdowns to power visiting Lemont (3-0) in the South Suburban crossover. The scoring throws included a 59-yarder to Ethan Chester and a 45-yarder to Joe Hehir. Eisenhower dropped to 0-3.

T.F. South 55, Hillcrest 13: Saleem Sanford had touchdown runs of 20 and 29 yards to spark host T.F. South (2-1, 1-0) in the South Suburban Blue. Sanford also caught scoring passes of 30 yards from Peyton Padjen and 43 yards from Danny Janowski. Hillcrest (0-3, 0-1) was led by Devonte Brewer, who scored on a 1-yard run and also threw an 18-yard TD strike to Devonta Archer.

Rich South 12, Fenton 8: Brandon Zachery (21-of-35) threw for 284 yards and two touchdowns to pace host Rich South (1-2). Wilber Voss added 162 yards on 32 carries for the Stars.

Lincoln-Way North 57, Thornwood 13: Tyler Gainor ran for three touchdowns to pace host Lincoln-Way North (2-1, 1-0) in the SouthWest Suburban Red. Julian Hylton added scoring runs of 18 and 3 yards for the Phoenix. Thornwood fell to 1-2, 0-1.

Brother Rice 30, Bishop McNamara 25: Matt Page’s 23-yard touchdown run propelled visiting Brother Rice (2-1) in the Catholic League crossover. Page also threw a 23-yard scoring strike to Luke Mueller. Marcus Jones and Jared Marcotte tacked on rushing TDs for the Crusaders.

Andrew 27, Stagg 20: Jacob Platt scored on a 40-yard run and also connected with Dennis Vlimek on a 5-yard touchdown pass to lift visiting Andrew (2-1, 1-0) in the SouthWest Suburban Red. Stagg slipped to 1-2, 0-1.

Carmel 34, Marian Catholic 10: Troy Nutall contributed a 19-yard touchdown run for visiting Marian Catholic (0-3) in its East Suburban Catholic opener.

Tinley Park 47, T.F. North 8: Christian Plummer had three touchdown runs and also hooked up with Jamar Washington on a 25-yard scoring pass to lead visiting Tinley Park (3-0, 1-0) in the South Suburban Blue. Aaron Sanders reached the end zone on a 21-yard reception for T.F. North (1-2, 0-1).

Lincoln-Way West 49, Thornridge 14: Nick Dangles had 14 carries for 178 yards and two touchdowns (5, 26 yards) in powering host Lincoln-Way West (2-1, 1-0) in the SouthWest Suburban Red. Thornridge dropped to 0-3, 0-1.

Thornton 18, Bradley 7: JoWahn Brown (17-of-24, 267 yards) threw thre touchdown passes to Juwan Wesley in pacing visiting Thornton (2-1, 1-0) in the SouthWest Suburban Red.

Rich Central 18, Urban Prep/Englewood 6: Rich Central (2-1) prevailed in Olympia Fields.

Wheaton St. Francis 49, Chicago Christian 0: Chicago Christian (1-2, 0-1) lost the Suburban Christian crossover at the College of DuPage.

Boys Soccer

Illiana Christian 1, Homewood-Flossmoor 1: Nick Parker’s goal enabled visiting Homewood-Flossmoor (2-4-1) to earn a draw. Juan Cristian Wagenveld scored for Illiana Christian (2-8-1).

Lemont 1, Argo 0: Tommy Gasienica scored off an assist from Lukasz Sulka to guide visiting Lemont (6-1-1, 2-0) in the South Suburban crossover. Argo slipped to 4-3-1, 0-2.

Lincoln-Way Invitational

Marian Catholic 0, Lincoln-Way North 0: Josh Handzik recorded the shutout for visiting Lincoln-Way North. Marian Catholic is 3-6-2.

Girls Volleyball

Cristo Rey 25-25, Seton 23-16: Mykel Adams had 27 digs for visiting Seton (1-4).

Girls Golf

Lincoln-Way East 170, Joliet Township co-op 201: Medalist Kelly Sterling shot a 1-over-par 37 to pace Lincoln-Way East in the SouthWest Suburban Blue dual at Inwood in Joliet.

Mount Assisi 233, Queen of Peace 261: Jesse Batsakis, of Mount Assisi, posted a 47 to win medalist honors in the GCAC meet at Cog Hill’s No. 1 Course.

Girls Tennis

Chicago Christian 3, Argo 1: Sisters Lisa and Lexi Chionis won at No. 1 and No. 2 singles, respectively, for visiting Chicago Christian. Sisters Michelle and Claudia Beczarski prevailed at No. 2 doubles for Argo.
