Boys Soccer

Marian Catholic 5, Joliet Catholic 0: Alec Guarino recorded a hat trick for host Marian Catholic (8-13-2, 3-4) in the East Suburban Catholic.

Eisenhower 3, Reavis 1: Jorge Salas, Rey Bahena and Alfredo Cervantes netted goals for host Eisenhower (8-2 in conference) in the South Suburban Red.

Stagg 5, Bradley 0: Phil Kolesinski scored twice to pace host Stagg (8-6-2, 2-1) in the SouthWest Suburban Red.

Bolingbrook 3, Homewood-Flossmoor 2: Jonathan Brandt had both goals for host Homewood-Flossmoor (2-15-3, 0-4) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue.

Illinois Lutheran 4, Oak Forest 1: Eric Dorn had two goals to boost Illinois Lutheran (14-8) in Crete.

Argo 3, Oak Lawn 0: Sam De La Rosa and Erik Martinez were among the goal scorers for host Argo (13-5-1, 8-2) in the South Suburban Red.

Crete-Monee 4, Kankakee 2: Jake Cogan’s hat trick propelled host Crete-Monee (13-5-1, 6-3) in the Southland.

Thornton co-op 2, Lincoln-Way West 1: Goals by Franciso Carbajal and Ricardo Estrada guided visiting Thornton co-op (9-6-2, 3-1) in the SouthWest Suburban Red. Ian McGrath scored for Lincoln-Way West (11-6-3, 3-1).

Andrew 1, Lincoln-Way North 0: Jonathan Sustaita scored for visiting Andrew (11-4-2, 2-1) in the SouthWest Suburban Red.

Rich Central 5, Rich South 4: Bertrand Chi (4 goals) netted the winning goal for visiting Rich Central in the Southland.

Bloom 11, Rich East 0: Osvaldo Sanchez and Jorge Garcia each provided three goals and two assists for host Bloom (16-3, 8-0) in the Southland.

Boys Cross Country

Brooks Invitational: No team scores were provided for meet won by Southland Prep. The Eagles were led by Michael Ward (12 minutes, 51 seconds) and Mark Diorio (12:56), who were seventh and eighth, respectively.

Girls Volleyball

No. 1 Mother McAuley 25-25, St. Ignatius 20-16: Courtney Joyce totaled 20 assists and 10 digs for visiting Mother McAuley (19-2, 5-0) in the GCAC Red.

No. 2 Marist 25-30, Fenwick 14-28: Elyse Panick had 10 service points, 10 digs and seven kills for visiting Marist (20-5, 6-0) in the East Suburban Catholic. Mallory Salas tacked on nine service points, nine digs and seven kills for the RedHawks.

No. 4 Stagg 25-25, Thornton 4-5: Ali Conrad and Lexi Mantas each drilled nine kills for visiting Stagg (21-5, 3-0) in the SouthWest Suburban Red. Kellie Senese added 20 service points for the Chargers.

No. 5 Sandburg 25-25, Joliet Central 17-18: Sami Knight had 10 assists and Kristy Theisen added six kills to pace visiting Sandburg (18-8, 3-0) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue.

No. 6 Lockport 25-26, Bolingbrook 21-24: Kayla Pfeiffer and Aubrey Ficek registered 10 and seven kills, respectively, to power host Lockport (14-6, 1-2) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue.

No. 7 Lincoln-Way Central 25-25, Joliet West 20-20: Kaitlyn Siadek totaled 24 assists and Maria Brown added 11 kills to spark visiting Lincoln-Way Central (16-5, 3-0) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue. Each player also recorded seven digs.

No. 8 Marian Catholic 25-25, St. Viator 16-14: Colleen Rynne had 12 assists and eight digs to lift visiting Marian Catholic (20-6, 5-1) in the East Suburban Catholic.

Richards 25-25, Evergreen Park 20-8: Shannon Gardner and Megan Albon had five kills apiece for visiting Richards (12-7, 6-4) in the South Suburban Red.

Lemont 25-25, Bremen 19-3: Megan Litoborski’s 13 assists and Kelly Ferguson’s six kills paced host Lemont (18-9, 9-1) in the South Suburban Blue.

Argo 29-25, Eisenhower 27-18: Amy Kinney notched 11 kills for host Argo (6-14, 1-9) in the South Suburban Red.

Beecher 25-25, Grant Park 14-18: Katie Wilkoz chalked up 18 assists and six digs for host Beecher (13-7, 7-0) in the River Valley.

Oak Lawn 25-25, Reavis 14-21: Rachel Kestian posted 15 assists and Simona Tomczak had eight kills to pace host Oak Lawn (19-4, 9-2) in the South Suburban Red.

Lincoln-Way West 27-25-25, Thornwood 29-17-17: Sarah Wegrzyn contributed eight kills for visiting Lincoln-Way West (16-9, 2-2) in the SouthWest Suburban Red. Aaliyah Wricks led Thornwood with 31 digs and seven kills.

Loyola 26-25, Mount Assisi 24-19: Kelly Magliano (8 kills, 4 blocks) led visiting Mount Assisi (11-16) in the GCAC Red.

Morgan Park Academy 25-25, Seton 10-7: Katelyn Healy’s 12 kills keyed host Morgan Park Academy (14-7). Seton fell to 5-16.

Bradley 25-25, Andrew 22-11: Nicole Bernardi finished with four kills and four assists to lead visiting Andrew (5-18, 1-3) in the SouthWest Suburban Red.

Lincoln-Way North 25-25, Thornridge 4-5: Ashley Pickert totaled seven kills and Erin Creedon added nine digs for host Lincoln-Way North (16-9, 3-0) in the SouthWest Suburban Red.

Volley for the Cure

No. 9 Lincoln-Way East 25-25, Homewood-Flossmoor 23-21: Taylor Nirchi had 16 assists and Dana Van Dyke chipped in 16 digs for host Lincoln-Way East (17-4, 3-0) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue. Kassie Wallace dished out 18 assists for Homewood-Flossmoor (20-6, 2-1).

Girls Cross Country

Brooks Invitational: No team scores were provided for the meet in which Southland Prep finished second. The Eagles’ top runner was Elysia Sawyer (15:58), who was fourth. Her teammate, Jalyn Jones (17:03), came in 11th.

Girls Swimming

Lemont 71, Thornton Fractional co-op 23: Annette Lesnicki won the 50-yard freestyle (28.78 seconds) and 100 backstroke (1 minute, 8.49 seconds) for visiting Lemont in the South Suburban Blue.

Tinley Park 134, Bremen 30: Kristen Davies prevailed in the 100 butterfly (1:06.63) to aid host Tinley Park in the South Suburban Blue.

Shepard 117, Oak Forest 69: Mary Lippert won two individual events, including the 100 free (1:03.38), for visiting Shepard in the South Suburban crossover. Oak Forest’s Sarah Minnich was first in the 200 individual medley (2:46.07).

Andrew 102, Stagg 80: Eleanor Peach was a winner in the 100 fly (1:21.13) for host Andrew in the SouthWest Suburban Red. Mallory Shaub, of Stagg, won the 100 back (1:22.88).

Reavis triangular: Victoria Lambton won the 50 free (25.93) as Evergreen Park (137) defeated Reavis (121) and Argo (44) in the South Suburban Red. Reavis’ Alex Malmborg prevailed in the 100 free (56.92).
