Marist 1, De La Salle 1: Brendan McHugh scored a first-half goal for visiting Marist (13-5-3).
Class 1A Manteno Regional
Illinois Lutheran 4, Beecher 3: Illinois Lutheran (15-8) prevailed in the semifinal. Beecher closed with a 15-7-1 mark.
Girls Volleyball
No. 1 Mother McAuley 25-23-25, Trinity 10-25-13: Courtney Joyce dished out 29 assists and Kelsey Clarke spiked 10 kills to lead visiting Mother McAuley (21-2, 7-0) in the GCAC Red. Michelle Konecki added 10 digs for the Mighty Macs.
No. 3 Stagg 25-25, Thornwood 14-14: Jill Conrad had 13 assists and her sister, Ali, posted eight kills to lead visiting Stagg (23-5, 5-0) in the SouthWest Suburban Red. Alexa Janus added eight assists and eight service points for the Chargers. Melva Smith led Thornwood with seven kills, four blocks and four digs.
Chicago Christian 25-25, Aurora Central Catholic 15-23: Emily Workman contributed 20 assists and eight digs to pace visiting Chicago Christian (17-10, 6-4) in the Suburban Christian Blue.
Men’s Soccer
Cardinal Stritch (Wis.) 2, St. Xavier 0: Kyle Held made four saves for visiting St. Xavier (9-4, 5-1) in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference.
