Kelsey Forkin, a senior, is in her fourth season as a varsity tennis player at Lockport.
Among her highlights in 2012 were teaming up with doubles partner Kat Samarzija and beating Homewood-Flossmoor for the first time in her career.
Who would your celebrity prom date be and why?
Actor Channing Tatum because he is super hot and a good dancer.
What’s the first thing you would do if you were president?
Find someone who can fix the unemployment rate and give them the presidency.
What is your favorite pig-out food?
Flaming Hot Cheetos.
Nobody knows…
I am deathly afraid of worms.
What’s on your iPod?
Almost everything, but my favorite is Awolnation
What’s your most memorable athletic moment so far?
The first time I qualified for the state meet when I was a freshman.
Why tennis?
My sister (Tracy) and my uncle both played tennis.
Who are your favorite athletes?
American professional tennis player John Isner. I think he’s going to be the best someday.
What part of your game do you need to work on the most?
I need to work on my mental game the most.
What are you goals for the season?
Advance to the state meet, win a match on Friday and go further than any Lockport player.
