Herscher 33, Beecher 29: Katie Howard had seven points to lead host Beecher in its season opener. Meghan Johnson (6 rebounds), Danielle Snuckel (6 assists) and Ashley Carroll added six points apiece for the Ladycats.
U-High Tournament
Ag. Science 54, Pritzker 23: Brittany Nash and Janae Heard each scored 14 points for Ag. Science (1-0).
