Boys Basketball

Bremen Tournament

Bremen 57, Gary Lighthouse 52: Otis Lane had 17 points for Bremen.

Chicago Heights Classic

No. 3 Bloom 46, South Shore 29: Johnny Griffin had 12 points to spark host Bloom.

No. 5 Hillcrest 65, Mount Carmel 57: Jovan Mooring notched 21 points to guide Hillcrest at Bloom. Mount Carmel’s David Nichols led all scorers with 26 points.

Marian Catholic 59, T.F. South 39: Tyler Ulis had 25 points to lead host Marian Catholic. Ka-Ton Mays scored nine points for T.F. South.

District 218 Tournament

Richards 74, Shepard 57: Josh Meier finished with 23 points for host Richards. Jacob Littleton led Shepard with 13 points.

Eisenhower 104, Fenger 84: Tyrone Terrell scored 32 points and B.J. Bronaugh chipped in 14 to spark Eisenhower.

Fenton Tournament

Proviso West 84, Oak Lawn 59: Shawn Cannon (15 points) was the leading scorer for Oak Lawn.

Illinois Lutheran Tournament

Illinois Lutheran 65, Luther East 27: Mack Newson’s 20 points lifted Illinois Lutheran. In the other game, Morgan Park Academy lost to Longwood 74-30.

Joliet West Tournament

Thornridge 69, Plainfield South 63: Darrion Robinson had 16 points and Greg Meyers chipped in 12 for Thornridge.

Bolingbrook 90, Tinley Park 54: Prentiss Nixon finished with 20 points in powering Bolingbrook.

Plainfield North 77, Rich South 70: Demetri Strickland totaled 20 points and eight rebounds for Rich South.

Lincoln Tournament

No. 2 Seton 75, Morton (Ill.) 57: Alex Foster had 21 points and Mark Weems tacked on 20 in propelling Seton.

Lincoln-Way North Tournament

Lincoln-Way East 54, Lincoln-Way West 37: Chris DeRubertis scored a game-best 17 points for Lincoln-Way East. In the other contest, Lincoln-Way North knocked off Lincoln-Way Central 64-34.

Oswego Tournament

No. 9 Andrew 62, Oswego East 55: Jubril Adekoya and Glorind Lisha netted 19 points apiece for Andrew.

Reavis Tournament

Reavis 76, Kennedy 41: Nick Bal provided 22 points for Reavis.

Seneca Tournament

Illiana Christian 80, Somonauk 34: Marcus Ottenhoff’s 16 points keyed Illiana Christian.

Stagg Tournament

Nazareth 77, St. Laurence 65: Jim Schick racked up 30 points and 12 rebounds for St. Laurence.

Stagg 80, Lindblom 50: Sean Dwyer and Max Strus scored 16 points apiece for Stagg.

WJOL Tournament

Crete-Monee 83, Joliet Catholic 52: Mark Conner scored 28 points to pace visiting Crete-Monee.

Girls Basketball

Beecher Tournament

Shepard 48, Tinley Park 42: Myrissha Mitchell scored 15 points and Mary Grace Valenta added 12 for Shepard (3-3). Tinley Park fell to 3-2.

Hinsdale South Tournament

No. 9 Sandburg 56, Hinsdale South 30: Carly Katalinic had 13 points to lead Sandburg (1-2).

Hinsdale Central 68, Stagg 63: Alexa Janus tossed in 18 points for Stagg (2-1) in the championship. Casey McMahon added 15 points for the Chargers.

Lincoln-Way Central Tournament

Plainfield North 53, Lincoln-Way Central 51: Ashley Newton contributed 13 points and 10 rebounds for Lincoln-Way Central (2-1).

Lincoln-Way West 60, Chicago Christian 40: Amanda Hozzian scored 13 points to lift Lincoln-Way West (1-2). Briana Smith totaled 10 points for Chicago Christian (1-2).

Marist Tournament

No. 2 Marist 62, Oak Park 54: Leah Bolton scored 25 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to pace Marist (2-0). JeTaun Rouse tacked on 21 points for the RedHawks.

Morgan Park Academy Tournament

Morgan Park Academy 45, Illinois Lutheran 19: Brittney McKnight poured in 14 points for Morgan Park Academy in its season opener.

Romeoville Tournament

Lemont 44, Joliet Central 35: Courtney Toth (19 points) and Kim Jerantowski (13) sparked Lemont (2-3).

Boys Bowling

Tinley Park 2,858, T.F. North 2,522: Nick Shupryt’s three-game series of 622 led Tinley Park in the South Suburban Blue dual at Castaways Bowl. T.F. North’s Anthony Price led all competitors with a 791 series.

Lincoln-Way East 2,001, Plainfield South 1,829: Brandon Nathan had a two-game series of 425 to propel Lincoln-Way East.

Girls Bowling

Lincoln-Way West 1,810, Plainfield East 1,659: Katie Nork rolled games of 215 and 194 to spearhead Lincoln-Way West.

T.F. South 1,711, Reavis 1,603: Charity Bickom rolled a 392 series for T.F. South in the South Suburban crossover.

Eisenhower 1,165, Rich East 983: Crystal Carrillo’s 279 series led Eisenhower at Lakewood Bowl.
