Nick Colangelo, of Lincoln-Way East, is this week’s Pepsi-Cola/SouthtownStar Player of the Week.
Colangelo, a senior running back, rushed 38 times for 198 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Griffins to a 37-13 win over Benet in a Class 7A semifinal. Lincoln-Way East advanced to play Glenbard West on Saturday in the 7A championship. Colangelo has amassed 1,049 yards on the season.
