No. 10 Homewood-Flossmoor 71, T.F. South 56: Lamar Wofford-Humphrey scored 19 points to pace Homewood-Flossmoor (2-0) at Marian Catholic. Kenny Doss and David Stinson had 13 points apiece for T.F. South (0-2).
Marian Catholic 60, Thornwood 56: Tyler Ulis racked up 29 points to lift host Marian Catholic (2-0). Dante Thomas paced Thornwood (0-2) with 26 points and 15 rebounds. In other games, No. 3 Bloom (2-0) beat Mount Carmel 59-40 and No. 5 Hillcrest routed South Shore 82-30.
District 218 Tournament
No. 7 Marist 84, Fenger 69: L.J. McIntosh chalked up 26 points and Lexus Williams added 22 to guide Marist (1-0) at Richards.
