Brimfield Tournament
Chicago Christian 58, Princeville 42: Dylan Slager and Blaine Wright scored 13 points apiece for Chicago Christian in its season opener.
Decatur Tournament
Lanphier 70, Thornton 66: Justin Taylor poured in 23 points to lead Thornton (0-2).
District 218 Tournament
No. 7 Marist 69, Richards 49: Lexus Williams chalked up 24 points to help Marist (3-0) win the championship. Josh Meier had 17 points for host Richards (2-1).
Shepard 92, Eisenhower 90: Darren Cohen’s 3-pointer with 20 seconds remaining was the difference for Shepard (2-1) in the third-place game. Jacob Littleton led the Astros with 28 points and Kyle Joy tacked on 18. Tyrone Terrell, of Eisenhower (1-2), paced all scorers with 28 points.
Fenton Tournament
Oak Lawn 67, Hubbard 50: Mitch Swatek and Bob Kametas each scored 14 points to pace Oak Lawn (1-3). Lee Baxa (13 rebounds) and Nick Contino added 13 points apiece for the Spartans.
Hinsdale South Tournament
Hinsdale South 48, Sandburg 43: Niko Cahue had a team-high 21 points for Sandburg (0-2).
De La Salle 51, Hinsdale Central 40: Alvin Ellis finished with 16 points for De La Salle (2-0) as Tom White earned his 300th coaching victory at the school.
Joliet West Tournament
Aurora Central Catholic 83, Thornridge 58: Darrion and Xavier Robinson scored 14 and 12 points, respectively, for Thornridge (1-2).
Rich South 47, Tinley Park 36: Denzel Kimbrough netted 14 points to pace Rich South (1-2). Demetri Strickland (9 rebounds, 5 assists) and Darius Lee (8 rebounds) added 11 points apiece for the Stars. Marcus Stokes had a team-high 13 points for Tinley Park (1-2).
Lincoln Tournament
Lincoln 61, No. 2 Seton 51: Kamal Shasi scored 16 points and Chris Seaton had 15 to pace Seton (2-1).
Lyons Tournament
Fenwick 69, Argo 42: Jalyn Turner provided 12 points for Argo (0-2).
Oswego Tournament
Proviso East 69, No. 9 Andrew 49: Jubril Adekoya scored 20 points and Luke Hook chipped in 11 for Andrew (1-3).

Ottawa 58, Oak Forest 55 (OT): Tom Shute had a team-best 27 points for Oak Forest (1-1).
Oak Forest 33, Pontiac 31: Shute finished with 11 points — hitting the game-winning shot at the buzzer — to lift Oak Forest in its season opener.
Riverside-Brookfield Tournament
Neuqua Valley 66, No. 6 Brother Rice 56: Alex Majewski scored 24 points and Jim Barista tacked on 22 to lead Brother Rice (2-1).
Riverside-Brookfield 68, Rich Central 61: Jaylen Miller’s 21 points and eight rebounds keyed Rich Central (1-3). Jamaal Murray and Keith Williams added 16 and 13 points, respectively, for the Olympians.
Seneca Tournament
Illiana Christian 91, Spring Valley Hall 59: Caleb Jonkman netted 21 points as Illiana Christian (3-0) qualified for the championship.
Stagg Tournament
Stagg 63, Willowbrook 57: Sean Dwyer’s 14 points sparked Stagg (3-0).
State Farm Tournament of Champions
No. 4 St. Rita 59, Champaign Central 47: Charles Matthews provided 17 points and 13 rebounds for St. Rita (3-0) in downstate Washington.
WJOL Tournament
Providence 53, Romeoville 32: Tom O’Halloran accumulated 11 points and seven rebounds in spearheading Providence (3-0) at the University of St. Francis.
Crete-Monee 49, Plainfield Central 41: Mark Conner notched 20 points and nine rebounds for Crete-Monee (3-0).

Benet/Naperville Central Tournament
Naperville Central 44, Providence 32: Brittney Boggetto had a team-high seven points for Providence (2-3) at Benet.
Lyons Tournament
Queen of Peace 36, Oak Forest 33: Hannah Lipman scored 13 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to spark Queen of Peace (2-3). Oak Forest fell to 1-3.
Maine West Tournament
No. 1 Marian Catholic 70, Stevenson 33: Ashton Millender poured in 17 points to lift Marian Catholic (3-0). The Spartans also received 10 points from Megan Walsh and 11 rebounds from Kaitlyn Sedor.
No. 8 Mother McAuley 56, Maine West 32: Elizabeth Nye (11 points) and Kristen Kleist (10) were the leading scorers for Mother McAuley (3-1).
Marist Tournament
Oak Park 71, T.F. North 41: Shartavia Wilkins racked up 12 points to lead T.F. North (0-5) in the afternoon session.
St. Ignatius 44, Rich Central 20: Katie Gallagher’s 13 points sank Rich Central in its second game of the day.
Oak Park 53, Rich Central 29: Cassandra Burres scored nine points for Rich Central in its first game of the day.
Riverside-Brookfield Tournament
Mount Assisi 50, Ridgewood 45: Mary Kate Wetzel tossed in 21 points and hauled in 12 rebounds to key Mount Assisi (2-4).
Boys Bowling
Plainfield South Invitational: Andrew had a six-game pinfall total of 6,178 in topping Romeoville (6,124) and Plainfield Central (6,105) for the team title at Joliet’s Town & Country Lanes. The champion Thunderbolts were led by medalist Justin Finnen, whose 1,435 series included a 300 score in the third game.
