Francis Parker 65, Morgan Park Academy 41: Henry Peters’ 21 points sank visiting Morgan Park Academy (1-3, 0-1) in the Independent School League.
Girls Basketball
Providence 40, Lincoln-Way Central 31: Alyssa Jurges tossed in 18 points to spearhead host Providence (4-4).
Boys Bowling
Lincoln-Way North 1,750, T.F. North 1,539: Kyle Pijarowski rolled games of 211 and 180 in leading Lincoln-Way North at Castaways Bowl.
Girls Bowling
Tinley Park 1,752, Rich South 1,743: Rich South’s Leionne Knox had the top game (225) and two-game series (428) at Lakewood Bowl. Mallory Fischer led Tinley Park with a 207 game and 401 series.
Wrestling
Ag. Science triangular: Alexander Velasquez (182 pounds) won twice by pin in helping Ag. Science top Public League foes Curie 48-30 and Kelvyn Park 57-9.
Men’s Basketball
St. Xavier 86, Calumet (Ind.) 60: Brad Karp netted 20 points to power visiting St. Xavier (4-3, 4-2) in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference. Jack Krieger (11 rebounds) and Anthony Grant added 13 points apiece for the Cougars.
Women’s Basketball
St. Xavier 80, Calumet (Ind.) 65: Suzie Broski’s 21 points sparked visiting St. Xavier (5-1, 5-1) in the CCAC. Morgan Stuut aided the cause for the Cougars by finishing with 17 points and 10 rebounds.
