No. 9 Rich South 49, T.F. North 35: Dasia Evans contributed 11 points and seven rebounds for visiting Rich South (11-2). Tierra Webb added 10 points, six rebounds and six steals for the Stars.

No. 1 Morgan Park 68, Compton (Calif.) 39: Morgan Park (7-0) won its Platinum Division opener in Las Vegas.
Marist Invitational
No. 8 Marist 80, Ford Power House 58: L.J. McIntosh netted 27 points and Zak Niemiera scored 13 to guide Marist (6-2).
Men’s Basketball
St. Xavier Tournament
St. Xavier 80, Robert Morris 66: Brad Karp scored 21 points and hauled in 13 rebounds for St. Xavier (9-3) in the first-round game. Anthony Grant and Jack Krieger added 20 points apiece for the Cougars, while Roosevelt Green dished out 16 assists.
