No. 5 St. Rita 78, Christ Presbyterian (Tenn.) 64: Dominique Matthews contributed 27 points and nine rebounds for St. Rita (7-2) in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Victor Law added 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Mustangs.
No. 8 Marist 56, O’Fallon 44: L.J. McIntosh scored 24 points and pulled down seven rebounds in leading Marist (9-2) to a quarterfinal berth. Lexus Williams added 14 points, eight steals, six assists and five rebounds for the RedHawks.
Richards 47, Mount Vernon 44: Josh Meier poured in 16 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lift Richards (5-4). Dedrick Shannon Jr. added 12 points for the Bulldogs.
Centralia 47, St. Laurence 32: Jim Schick posted 11 points and seven rebounds for St. Laurence (3-10).
Jacksonville 89, Eisenhower 55: Nick Curta totaled 19 points to lead Eisenhower (2-6).

Evergreen Park 45, Northside Prep 42: Tony Weathersby notched 12 points for Evergreen Park (3-8) in the second-round game at Immaculate Conception.
Illiana Christian 82, Momence 33: Jon Zandstra scored 18 points and Brandon Martin added 14 points and six assists for Illiana Christian (10-6) in the small school bracket.
DuSable 68, Andrew 66: Jubril Adekoya totaled 26 points and 10 rebounds for Andrew (4-5) in the large school bracket. Aaron Williams chipped in 11 points for the Thunderbolts and Glorind Lisha had 10.
Kankakee 52, Bremen 48: Otis Lane’s 15 points were the most for Bremen (5-7) in the large school bracket.
Mount Carmel 57, LaSalle-Peru 53: Christian Searles scored 23 points and pulled down six rebounds in helping Mount Carmel (5-5) advance to the quarterfinal round.

Thornwood 70, Grayslake Central 42: Donzel Vinson racked up 19 points and Donte Thomas chipped in 13 to power Thornwood (6-5) in the Class AA consolation quarterfinal at Illinois Wesleyan.
T.F. North 42, Springfield 34: Nick Wood scored 12 points and Marquis Todd added 11 for T.F. North (10-2) in the Class AA consolation quarterfinal at Illinois Wesleyan.

Lemont 45, Plainfield North 44: Kim Jerantowski’s 15 points keyed Lemont (8-5) in the second round.
Argo 31, Lane Tech 30: Nariman Jaber finished with 13 points, 12 rebounds and nine blocked shots for Argo (5-5) in the second round. Sharnita Breeze added nine points and 14 rebounds for the Argonauts.
State Farm Classic
Springfield 52, No. 3 Morgan Park 38: Bhrea Griffin had 11 points to pace Morgan Park (8-2) in the large school quarterfinal at Normal Community.
T.F. South Tournament
No. 10 Crete-Monee 58, Shepard 33: Lyndzy Cox scored 14 points and Ashley Henry added 12 for Crete-Monee (14-1) in the second round of pool play. Shepard fell to 6-10.
Eisenhower 44, T.F. South 41: Germeisha McGee chalked up 16 points and Shavonne Lewis added 10 to lead Eisenhower (4-8). T.F. South fell to 4-8.
Thornwood 59, Joliet West 50: Aliyah Owens scored a team-best 14 points to propel Thornwood (6-4). In the remaining game, Thornridge (0-10) lost to Bradley 36-23.
Brother Rice Invitational: Ag. Science’s Perry Sibby won first place with a six-game pinfall total of 1,413 at Arena Bowl. Morgan Park’s Byron Lawson (1,291) was fourth and Brother Rice Maroon’s Nick Jorge (1,280) came in sixth. Freeport (6,060) captured the team crown over runner-up Brother Rice Maroon (6,043). Morgan Park (5,781) was fourth and Mount Carmel Brown (5,730) fifth in the 18-team field.
Andrew Invitational: Andrew (5,902) won the team title at Orland Bowl, where the Baker scoring format was used. The champion Thunderbolts were led by runner-up Mike Dertz, who posted a 628 series over three games.
Reavis Invitational: Sandburg’s Nicole Powell (1,397) was the individual champion at El-Mar Bowl. As a team, the Eagles (5,495) finished third behind Minooka (5,617) and Leyden (5,564).
Andrew Invitational: Medalist Nicole Zopf (554) propelled Andrew (5,300) to the team crown at Orland Bowl, where teams and individuals competed under the Baker scoring system.
Argo triangular: Luis Ramirez (113 pounds) had two pins as Argo (13-3) defeated Stagg 36-27 and St. Laurence 67-11.
Blackhawks Charities Holiday Tournament
Providence 4, Naperville North 2: Rich Yusa’s hat trick enabled Providence (28-6-3) to advance to the quarterfinal at The Edge in Bensenville.
