Effingham 44, Richards 41: Josh Meier posted nine points and 11 rebounds for Richards (5-6) in the championship fifth-place bracket.

Metea Valley 73, Providence 33: Miles Boykin chalked up 12 points to lead Providence (9-6) in the fifth-place game.
Wheaton North 50, Sandburg 42: Matt Biegalski poured in 18 points for Wheaton North (5-5) in the contest for 13th place. Sandburg fell to 1-12.
Andrew 66, Bremen 41: Jubril Adekoya totaled 24 points and 11 rebounds for Andrew (6-5) in the large school fifth-place game. Alec Senne added career highs with 11 points and 10 rebounds for the Thunderbolts. Bremen (7-7) received a team-high eight points from Marcus Geralds.
Illiana Christian 67, Herscher 55: Jon Zandstra recorded 22 points and Elijah Lares added 16 in lifting Illiana Christian (11-7) to a third-place finish in the small school bracket.
Lincoln-Way Central 49, Lincoln-Way East 44: Matt Mikolajczak netted 24 points for Lincoln-Way Central (7-7) in the third-place game. Mike Moss had 10 points and six rebounds for host Lincoln-Way East (6-5).
Oak Lawn 44, Oak Forest 36: Shawn Cannon scored 12 points and DeQwon McGowan added 10 to lead Oak Lawn (4-9) to fifth place. Tom Shute poured in 18 points and Kyle Flanagan had seven for Oak Forest (5-9).
Harper 50, Lincoln-Way West 41: Hayden Witt scored 13 points and Jon Marotta 10 for Lincoln-Way West (1-12) in the seventh-place game.

Crespi Carmelite (Calif.) 72, No. 7 Hillcrest 60: Kyle Oden’s 15 points led Hillcrest (9-5) in consolation semifinal. Allen Jones added 14 points for the Hawks and Jovan Mooring had 13 points and six rebounds.
Argo 65, U-High 63: Tyler Mitchell’s runner in the lane as time expired lifted Argo (6-7) in the fifth-place game. Mitchell finished with 22 points and Dustin Krob added 17 for the Argonauts, who trailed by 15 points with 3:50 remaining in the final period.
Reavis 68, Crane 58: Nick Bal poured in 26 points to propel Reavis (9-5) in the seventh-place game. Yaseen Ghouleh tacked on 17 points for the Rams and Eddie Puha had 15 points with eight rebounds.
Chicago Christian 61, Addison Trail 47: Corey Bulthuis scored a game-high 33 points to spark Chicago Christian (6-7) in the consolation championship.

Ag. Science 57, Ellison 40: Brittany Nash registered 17 points and seven rebounds to pace Ag. Science (15-1) in the championship.
Bremen 44, Evergreen Park 37: Maggie Hayes provided 24 points to spark Bremen (6-8).
Barrington 51, No. 5 Mother McAuley 50: Elizabeth Nye rang up 16 points for Mother McAuley (12-3) in the fifth-place game.
Chicago Christian 39, Reed-Custer 32: Kaycee Pittman finished with 11 points for Chicago Christian (6-11) in the 13th-place game. Also in consolation play, Illiana Christian edged Mount Assisi 40-36.
Andrew 66, Lincoln-Way Central 65: Molly Franson poured in 30 points for Andrew (10-3) with Nicole Dominguez adding 14 in the third-place game at Lincoln-Way East. Candace Finnin led Lincoln-Way Central (7-7) with 22 points.
Lincoln-Way West 46, Plainfield South 33: Brittany Michalski (9 points), Emily Ray (8) and Amanda Hozzian (8) paced Lincoln-Way West (7-7) in the fifth-place game.
Naples (Fla.) Shootout
Warren Easton (La.) 71, No. 2 Marist 63: Marist (11-4) lost the 11th-place game, finishing the tournament with a 1-3 record.
Oswego East Tournament
Lemont 43, Joliet Central 37: Courtney Toth’s 14 points boosted Lemont (9-6), which splits its four tournament games.
Nazareth 39, Argo 28: Katie Krzos scored 10 points and Nariman Jaber added eight points and 10 rebounds to aid Argo (5-7) in the third-place game. Reavis lost to McHenry 43-31 in the seventh-place game.
Glenbard East Invitational: Lemont had a six-game series of 5,350 in placing fifth out of nine teams. The Indians were led by Ben Stech (1,223), who finished sixth.
Reavis quadrangular: Jesus Vasquez (113 pounds) recorded two pins for Reavis, which lost to Homewood-Flossmoor 46-29 and beat Lincoln-Way North 48-24. Sam Almousa (138) added victories by technical fall and major decision for the Rams.
Blackhawks Charities Holiday Tournament
Glenbrook North 2, Providence 1: Vince Kesic scored for Providence in the championship at the Edge in Bensenville.
South Suburban 89, Grand Rapids (Mich.) 80: Michael Harris contributed 24 points and five rebounds to lead host South Suburban (14-1). Bryce Walker added 19 points for the Bulldogs, who also received contributions from Kadeem Thornton (14 points, 9 rebounds) and Anthony Strickland (13 points, 7 rebounds).
Westmont (Calif.) Tournament
St. Xavier 87, Jessup (Calif.): Brad Karp scored 37 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to propel St. Xavier (12-4) in the consolation championship.
