Girls Basketball

No. 4 Morgan Park 76, Simeon 42: Kierra Graves poured in 22 points for Morgan Park (13-3, 7-0) in the Public League Red-South.

No. 5 Bloom 52, Rich Central 24: Bria Gaines (24 points, 14 rebounds, 4 blocks) and Katherine Strong (18 points, 11 rebounds) led host Bloom (14-4, 6-0) in the Southland.

No. 7 Hillcrest 75, Richards 60: Dana Gettis had a game-high 29 points and Tanzania Sherrill had 20 for Hillcrest (14-4, 7-0) in the South Suburban crossover. Georgia Danos (19 points) and Taylor Sonichsen (15) led four double-digit scorers for Richards (6-9, 2-5).

No. 8 Stagg 53, Bradley 39: Revi McMahon (17 points), Casey McMahon (10) and Alexa Janus (8) paced visiting Stagg (12-3, 6-0) in the SouthWest Suburban Red.

Oak Forest 42, Reavis 38: Nour Salah had 21 points for Oak Forest (10-8, 5-2), with Maddie Baxa chipping in 14 points. Jakki Padilla had 13 points for Reavis.

Sandburg 65, Joliet West 40: Samantha Youngwirth had 15 points and Carly Katalinic 10 for Sandburg (9-9, 2-3) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue road win.

Morgan Park Academy 48, Mooseheart 13: Brittney McKnight and Isabelle Panozzo had 10 points apiece for host Morgan Park Academy (11-5).

Ag Science 41, Longwood 34: Carly Trinley had 10 points, four rebounds and four steals for host Ag Science (17-1, 9-1) in the Public League Blue. Colleen Kull added nine points and six rebounds.

Lincoln-Way North 56, Thornton 32: Ashley Weringa and Valen Manns scored 15 points apiece for Lincoln-Way North (16-3, 5-1) in the SouthWest Suburban Red.

Oak Lawn 57, T.F. North 42: LaTondra Brooks finished with 18 points for visiting Oak Lawn (12-4, 6-1), with Brooke Annerino adding 12 points in the South Suburban crossover.

Homewood-Flossmoor 77, Lincoln-Way Central 43: Sydni Johnson (22 points) and Jaiveonna Norris (10) led H-F (10-8, 4-2) in the SouthWest Suburban Red. Madeline Bednarz scored 10 points for Lincoln-Way Central.

Tinley Park 58, Shepard 50 (OT): Caitlin Sudduth scored a career-high 30 points while adding 10 rebounds and six steals for Tinley Park (14-6, 6-1) with Diamond Beatty adding 16 points. Jessica Chaput had 16 points for host Shepard (9-11, 2-5) in the South Suburban crossover.

T.F. South 59, Evergreen Park 38: Kameron Dickens’ 18 points led host T.F. South (6-11, 4-3) in the South Suburban crossover.

Boys Bowling

Shepard 1,953, Hillcrest 1,917: Shepard’s Mike Albrecht had a 447 series while Hillcrest’s Markus Simmons finished with a 243 game.

Minooka 3,124, Lincoln-Way West 2,867: Vince Palione led West with a 247 game and 685 series.

Andrew 1,955, Lyons 1,954: Kyle Krull rolled a 226 game and 429 series for Andrew at Orland Bowl.

Marist 2,326, Southland Prep 2,148: Perry Sibby (223 game) and Peter Switalski (599 series) led Southland.

Girls Bowling

Lincoln-Way West 1,574, Stagg 1,536: Elise Waight led host Stagg at Palos Lanes with a 414 series and 210 high game.

Evergreen Park 2,517, T.F. South 2,294: Stacy Pratscher (205 game) and Emily Blankenship (541 series) led Evergreen Park in the South Suburban crossover at Bleeker’s Bowling.

Lockport 2,108, Joliet Central 1,768: Bri Zabierek’s 266 game and Megan Szczepanski’s 452 series paced Lockport at Crest Hill Lanes.

Hillcrest 1,446, Oak Forest 1,258: Rachael Walker and Denisyha Walker each had a 332 series for Hillcrest in the South Suburban Blue dual. Tori Rodriguez’s 186 game led Oak Forest.

Lincoln-Way North 1,846, Lincoln-Way Central 1,627: Kayla O’Brien had a 447 series for North in the SouthWest Suburban crossover.

Lincoln-Way East 1,838, Sandburg 1,653: Rachel Tobolaski had a 233 game for Lincoln-Way East (5-5, 5-4) in the SouthWest Suburban Blue dual. Nicole Powell’s 401 series led Sandburg.

Lemont 1,957, Shepard 1,479: Lizzie Melvin (401 series, 221 game), Nina Moeller (408 series) and Nora Collins (406 series) led visiting Lemont (10-0) at Centennial Lanes.

Reavis 1,570, Eisenhower 1,397: Ashley Kouba had a 212 game and 360 series for Reavis at El-Mar Bowl.

Wrestling

Lemont triangular: T.F. South (11-7, 7-3) defeated Lemont 52-15 and Evergreen Park 59-12 with Jake Tisza, Corey Cross, Justin Pickett and Blake Tisza all claiming two wins.

Argo quadrangular: Reavis defeated T.F. North 54-30 and Argo 38-27. Oak Lawn defeated Reavis 41-27.

Lincoln-Way North 42, Thornton 27: Lincoln-Way North (7-13) won the SouthWest Suburban Red dual.

Lincoln-Way Central 54, Homewood-Flossmoor 12: Lincoln-Way Central won the SouthWest Suburban Blue dual.

Boys Swimming

Oak Lawn 106, Bremen 63: Josh Ehrlicher won the 200-yard freestyle (2:13.14) and 100 breaststroke (1:16.39) for visiting Oak Lawn. Quinn Johnson won the 100 backstroke (1:06.82) and 500 freestyle (5:31.63) for Bremen.

Andrew 102, Stagg 84: Harlan Long won the 200 freestyle (1:54.18) for Stagg in the SouthWest Suburban Red dual.

Lincoln-Way Central 112, Homewood-Flossmoor 69: Jacob Muellerschoen won the 500 freestyle (5:24.27) and Cody Morris won the 100 backstroke (55.93 seconds) for Lincoln-Way Central. Kevin Kuchta finished first in the 100 freestyle (50.59) and 200 freestyle (1:50.21) for Homewood-Flossmoor.

Reavis 110, Oak Forest 74: Matt Blicharski won the 200 individual medley (2:14.75) and 100 backstroke (1:01.15) and Marcin Ciszek took the 100 freestyle (57.50) for visiting Reavis in the South Suburban crossover.

Men’s Basketball

St. Xavier 81, Olivet Nazarene 64: Brad Karp (18 points) and Dominique Harvey (16) paced visiting St. Xavier (16-4, 12-2) in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic conference game.

Women’s Basketball

St. Xavier 86, Olivet Nazarene 69: Morgan Struut’s 26 points and 12 rebounds led St. Xavier (15-3, 10-3) in the road Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference. Suzie Broski (22 points) and Romisha Tyler (13) also contributed for St. Xavier.
