Tinley Park 56, Bremen 53: Marcus Stokes’ three-pointer as time expired was the difference for visiting Tinley Park (8-15, 4-7) in the South Suburban Blue. Vince Gooden led the Titans with 23 points and Stokes had 12.
Benet 78, No. 4 Marist 67: JeTaun Rouse scored 20 points and Leah Bolton had 19 for visiting Marist (20-9, 5-3) in the East Suburban Catholic.
Tinley Park 66, Bremen 41: Diamond Beatty scored 22 points to lead host Tinley Park (20-8, 11-2) in the South Suburban Blue. Caitlyn Sudduth tacked on 11 points for the Titans, who posted their first 20-win season since 1988-89. Bremen fell to 7-20, 0-13.
Oak Forest 51, T.F. South 34: Kelly McEathron netted 16 points and Maddie Baxa added 12 to power visiting Oak Forest (15-11, 9-4) in the South Suburban Blue. T.F. South dropped to 9-14, 7-6.
Providence 42, Carmel 32: Alyssa Jurges scored 11 points and Alex Shermulis added nine for visiting Providence (12-16, 2-7) in the East Suburban Catholic.
Class 2A Ellison Regional
Mount Assisi 41, Ag. Science 30: MaryKate Wetzel had 18 points and seven rebounds to spark Mount Assisi in the semifinal. Natalie Gath chipped in 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Eagles.
St. Xavier 68, St. Francis 41: Anthony Grant posted a game-best 22 points for visiting St. Xavier (23-4, 19-2) in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference. Brad Karp added 12 points for the Cougars, while Roosevelt Green had 10 points and six assists.
St. Francis 57, St. Xavier 55: Melissa Draper’s tip-in with less than one second remaining won it for host St. Francis in the CCAC. Suzie Broski led St. Xavier (21-5, 15-5) with 12 points and also pulled down seven rebounds. The Cougars’ other contributors included Niara Harris (10 points) and Morgan Stuut (17 rebounds).
