No. 3 Bloom 46, Thornton 33: Jataryan Dejareaux had 12 points and 20 rebounds to show the way for host Bloom (21-3). Johnny Griffin led the Blazing Trojans with 15 points. Justin Taylor scored a team-leading nine points for Thornton (11-10).
No. 5 Hillcrest 73, Tinley Park 41: Taylor Adway recorded 18 points and nine rebounds to power visiting Hillcrest (18-7, 11-0) in the South Suburban Blue. Jovan Mooring added 13 points for the Hawks and Kyle Oden had 11. Vince Gooden scored 12 points for Tinley Park (8-15, 4-8).
No. 6 Lemont 72, T.F. South 55: Mike Wisz had 25 points and six steals to boost host Lemont (21-2, 10-1) in the South Suburban Blue game. Juozas Balciunas added 14 points, seven assists and four rebounds for the Indians. With the loss, T.F. South fell to 10-12, 6-5.
Argo 71, Evergreen Park 59: Jalyn Turner’s team-best 21 points keyed host Argo (10-13, 6-5) in the South Suburban Red. Dustin Krob chipped in 15 points for the Argonauts, who also received 14 points each from Tyler Mitchell and Ryan Krob. Isaac Matthews finished with 18 points for Evergreen Park (6-20).
Richards 82, Oak Lawn 54: Cortez Harper provided 19 points and Josh Meier scored 17 to aid host Richards (15-9, 7-4) in the South Suburban Red. DeQwon McGowan led Oak Lawn with 15 points.
Rich South 47, Thornwood 44: Double-doubles by Jaylen Zachery (18 points, 10 rebounds) and Demitri Strickland (11 points, 10 rebounds) propelled visiting Rich South (10-13). Donte Thomas scored 20 points for Thornwood (10-13).
Bremen 64, Oak Forest 60: Otis Lane notched 21 points to pace visiting Bremen (10-12, 3-8) in the South Suburban Blue. Tom Zale’s 16 points were the most for Oak Forest (9-15, 4-7).
Reavis 56, Shepard 48: Nick Bal (20 points) and Eddie Puha (15) were the primary scorers for visiting Reavis (16-6, 7-4) in the South Suburban Red. Jacob Littleton and Devontae Armwood chalked up 14 points apiece for Shepard (12-10, 4-7).
Bradley 49, Lincoln-Way Central 48: Brad Bass scored 16 points to pace visiting Lincoln-Way Central (9-15) in the SouthWest Suburban crossover.
Plainfield North 70, Lincoln-Way East 63: Marcus Fair tossed in 22 points to guide host Plainfield North (12-12). Corey Evak tacked on 13 points and 14 rebounds for the Tigers. Lincoln-Way East dropped to 8-14.
Illiana Christian 52, Fenton 37: Brandon Martin scored 15 points and snatched eight rebounds to pace visiting Illiana Christian (18-9, 8-4) in the Metro Suburban.
Class 4A Eisenhower Regional
No. 2 Mother McAuley 63, Shepard 33: Lauren Carlson’s 13 points guided Mother McAuley (21-6) in the semifinal. Bridget Bilek and Jasma Williams added 11 points apiece for the Mighty Macs. Amanda Weiss finished with nine points for Shepard (13-16).
Crete-Monee 52, No. 7 Homewood-Flossmoor 46: Lindzy Cox and Alexia DeBose registered 15 and 14 points, respectively, for Crete-Monee (24-4) in the semifinal. Jaiveonna Norris had 14 points for Homewood-Flossmoor (18-10).
Class 4A Lincoln-Way East Regional
No. 5 Bloom 50, Sandburg 24: Bria Gaines finished with 16 points, 17 rebounds and five assists to spearhead Bloom (20-6) in the semifinal. Danielle King led the Blazing Trojans with 19 points and Katherine Strong had 18. Rachel Ruzevich had 10 points for Sandburg (16-12).
Lincoln-Way East 55, Lincoln-Way Central 35: Meaghan McMahon scored 16 points and hauled in nine rebounds to put Lincoln-Way East (20-8) in the championship. Kara Krolicki tacked on 15 points and seven rebounds for the Griffins. Lincoln-Way Central closed with a 10-16 mark.
Class 4A Metea Valley Regional
Neuqua Valley 72, Lockport 16: Lockport (12-14) was beaten in the semifinal.
Class 4A St. Ignatius Regional
Fenwick 71, Argo 34: Nariman Jaber totaled nine points, eight rebounds and six blocked shots for Argo (9-16) in the semifinal.
Class 3A De La Salle Regional
Evergreen Park 67, Noble Street-Muchin 23: Megan Beckow’s 17 points paved the way for Evergreen Park (12-13) in the semifinal.
Class 3A Hillcrest Regional
No. 6 Hillcrest 59, Oak Forest 36: Mariam Awoniyi scored 20 points to lead Hillcrest (21-5) in the semifinal. Kelly McEathron had a game-best 21 points for Oak Forest (16-12).
Rich South 48, Tinley Park 45: Tierra Webb produced a team-leading 16 points for Rich South (21-5) in the semifinal. Diamond Beatty, of Tinley Park (21-9), led all scorers with 24 points.
Class 3A Queen of Peace Regional
Queen of Peace 57, Harper 11: Hannah Lipman contributed 22 points to spark Queen of Peace (11-17) in the semifinal round.
Class 3A Thornridge Regional
No. 4 Morgan Park 85, Chicago Christian 24: Shami Goodman poured in 21 points and Khalilah Morrow grabbed 10 rebounds to lift Morgan Park (21-5) in the semifinal. Briana Smith registered a team-high nine points for Chicago Christian (8-19).
Class 1A Westminster Christian Sectional
Morgan Park Academy 32, North Shore Country 6: Gabby Ogbevire’s 16 points enabled Morgan Park Academy (19-8) to reach the championship.
Boys Indoor Track & Field
Homewood-Flossmoor triangular: Aaron Fullerton won the 300-meter dash (40.14 seconds) and triple jump (39 feet, 1 inch) in leading Homewood-Flossmoor (152.50) past Eisenhower (54) and Richards (37.50).
Men’s College Basketball
South Suburban 85, Trinity Christian 39: Michael Harris had 16 points, seven rebounds and four assists to lead host South Suburban (25-2).
